My wife and I have visited this restaurant twice in two days on our honeymoon. Both of us were extremely impressed with the quality of the food and drinks here. The first day we both ordered the grilled grouper sandwich. They were seasoned perfectly, and were VERY generous in portion. Due to the market price they were a bit spendy ($15.95 each as grouper is very overfished at the moment), but I have to say that said sandwich was the best Ive ever had in my 31 years on this planet, and I have had a lot of sandwiches in my day. In fact, I rate it on my top 5 all time best meals period! While I had the grouper sandwich both days, my wife had the sandwich the first day and the Sunfish (Tilapia) salad today. She enjoyed the sandwich as much as I did, and also enjoyed her salad very much. It was very fresh, the fish was perfectly cooked, and it had a pineapple slice on top to add extra flavor. The drinks are also excellent (and strong!) I had the "Hurricane" both times, and my wife had the Cherry Mojito on her first visit and a very good berry drink the second time (cant remember the name). The atmosphere is nice. On our first visit was a good solo musician who wasnt so loud that we couldnt carry on a conversation from across the room. (I personally do not like loud music, as I tend to be hard of hearing and cannot hear conversations over music). Todays music was a band that while not bad, they were amped so loud that I could not hear my wife talking to me from 2 feet away. The restaurant has open walls and very good air circulation. Despite it being 95 degrees outside, we were not too warm while we ate. Service was fine, though on our second trip we came during a shift change which caused a bit of a delay. A quick visit by my wife to the hostess stand fixed the problem immediately. No service issues other than that. The staff is friendly and professional. This place is definitely worth at least one visit if youre in FMB. There is a pay parking lot right next door for convenience, and is not too expensive on normal days (was $10 today due to it being the 4th of July).

We started with the nachos and tuna for apps. The tuna app wasnt bad but there was literally no chips on the nachos what so ever. The service was par at best. I ordered the shrimp boil which was no where near the quantity of food that was in the menu pic. It was maybe 4 dollars worth of shrimp and potatoes. The shrimp was rubber and I would have had an easier time just eating the shells. We finished our pitcher and never recieved another one, never received refills on our water and literally had to flag a server down and ask for the check after we sat there for 20 mins. This expirence really doesnt sound too awful, heres the best part. About 30 mins after the food me my fiancé and two guests were literally climbing over each other to get to the bathroom. Each of us got a different meal and we all got the runs. It seems like some people really enjoy this place but I will also never go back. Also this is my first and probably only review unless some how I manage to get an even worse case of food poisioning some where else

I would give it less than 1 star but it wont let me...worst experience ever at a restaurant... Didnt even get to order..sat down at 1055 am, and a waiter who wasnt even ours rudely came past and told us it wasnt lunch time and we couldnt have lunch...um that hadnt even brought our drinks and from the obvious chaos in such a dirty place they should have been more than happy to let us order..its not what they said but how they said it and I even talked to a manager who didnt seem to care..needless to say we left and I cannot wait until I find the gm of the Yucatán.. Owners would be better so I can inform them that they should hire new help and managers who know proper customer service, relations, and how to resolve any issues..I wouldnt recommend anyone to eat here even if they gave the food away

Have been here before and it was o k, nothing special, just some place new to go. This trip was the last trip. Got seated inside and the people next to us were smoking....cigarette smoke always gravitates to the non-smoker, right? We were about to ask to move to another table when they left. The guy who seated us had no personality, acted as if he did not want to be there and had nothing identifiable that he worked there, I was surprised when he asked how many in our party as I thought he was a customer by his t shirt and sagging jeans. There were flies everywhere, the steak was over cooked, no baked potatoes EVER, no french or thousand island dressing, the onion rings were terrible and the drink refills were slow or non-existant. I hope they improve and you have a better visit.

We are staying in Bonita Springs. Headed to Ft. Myers Beach for a."beach type" eatery. After a 75minute wait on a Wed night, I was completely let down by poor service and horrible food. The waitress was less than attentive and when the food arrived, our " trio" of grouper, salmon and tilapia, was horribly overcooked. Not to mention that they were " out of kids menus" and the waitress couldnt tell us what they offered for kids! If you are in the area, save yourself the headache, drive 7 miles further down Estero Blvd. to Captain Jacks and have a great seafood dinner with an amazing atmosphere. This restaurant is the kind of place I would frequent, after many drinks, on spring break in college. What a let down!

Everything about this place was awful. Food was bland, overcooked, and all around disappointing. The only exception was the steam pot which was decent at least. Calamari was a previously frozen rubbery mess served with generic marina sauce. Mahi mahi and sides were overcooked and bland. Music was obnoxiously loud (live band). The worst of all was the service. Everyone that worked there looked so angry to be there. Im not sure I have ever had worse service - our server had no personality and couldnt care less about us. Strongly advise against wasting your time or money here.

Had the Grouper Sandwich. Was great, only my fries were almost cold when they arrived. Drinks were pretty good and the price was ok (7,50$ for a Hurricane) When we wanted to pay, it took some time till Mitchel brought us the bill, even if there were not many guest in there anymore (we entered the restaurant at 9:50PM) I would definitly come back again...the food, drinks and prices were way better then it was in "Pier Peddler" across the street! Probably the staff from the Pier Peddler should work here, then it would be perfect :-)

We had Damon as our server and he was fantastic. The general atmosphere was fun and there was live entertainment. We were seated quickly and our food came out promptly. As appetizers we had: Guacamole and chips (the chips came out nice and warm as if they were just made) Calamari (nice and crispy with excellent marinara sauce) Wings (just great) For the main meal we had: The mahi pesto pasta The blackened fish tacos where excellent The shrimp and scallop scampi was delicious •The side salads were huge and everything was great!
