I came here for breakfast this morning. Wow. Where to begin... I find it shocking that it has as good of reviews as it does because I found the breakfast to be mediocre and bland. I had eggs and bacon and 1 Belgium waffle and a $3 orange juice that looked like it was a baby portion. It was so small. Three dollars for 3 gulps of orange juice... Anyway, my egg was extremely rubbery and bland and my bacon was just bleh. My Belgium waffle didnt come out with the rest of my food. It came out about 7 minutes later. I wasnt really fond of having my order split up like that but it wasnt a big deal either. The waffle however, was dry and luke warm and it didnt look appetizing at all. When I did "dig in" I realized that it tasted like it looked. I ate 3/4 of a bite. Yes, 3/4 of a BITE! When my waitress finally came to check on me she asked my why I didnt eat my waffle and I told her. She took it back to the kitchen only to return and tell me that she couldnt comp my Waffle because there was "nothing wrong with it," and that me not liking it was only my opinion (which clearly doesnt mean anything). Like WHAT!?!? What kind of stuff is that? Im like, lady I told you what was "wrong" with it. Its bone dry. Her response was "thats how Belgium waffles are supposed to taste." When I mentioned the fact that it was also lukewarm her reply was that their food is cooked on a timer and that no one else complains about it. She was completely dismissive of MY experience and I was disappointed that they made me pay for a $10 waffle that I barely ate, all the while maintaining that *I* was the problem and not the food. She told me the only way they would comp the food would be if something was literally sour or going bad. WHAT?!? Im assuming theyre not dumb enough to serve a customer bad food so essentially shes saying once a customer receives food-- no matter if its cold, dry, bland, rubbery or any other unsatisfactory condition in which the food arrives at your table-- they are uninterested in any complaints; which I found extremely odd. The customer can never win under those conditions. I was literally dumbfounded at the way the situation was handled. She told me I could come back when the owner arrived "in the afternoon" (whenever that is---like Im just going to sit around all day and wait for the person). Im not sure what good that would have done anyway. Clearly they value their bottom line way more than my experience as their customer. Their food was right (As it was on a timer and we all know food on a timer is always good, not to mention the fact that Belgium waffles are supposed to be hard and dry) and I was wrong. Needless to say I will NEVER go back, which is their loss because I go to the beach often. I will also tell everyone I know to boycott them as well. My experience was not valued and my money was not appreciated. I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant and the customer service. Another reviewer said that he felt that they were "racist" so maybe thats why I was treated like my "opinion" and experience didnt matter.

Veal Parm and crabcake salad were delicious (5 stars). The service was awful (0-1 stars). Food. For a $23 entree, youd expect complimentary bread and at least a small salad. But zip, none, nada. Service. The server was naturally rude. We started ordering garlic bread (which was never served) and a glass of wine (which didnt make it to the table until asked again 18 minutes later). When the server brought the wine, the glass was unacceptably lipstick dirty from a previous customer. Lipstick dirty, I kid you not. I asked the server, Elmir, to replace it but he was not too helpful -- he didnt understand the sanitary situation. He came back with a glass of watered-down Merlot ($8), which of course I didnt accept. After the food was served, the waiter was MIA: there was nobody to ask Parmesan cheese, garlic bread or more water. Further, no server or manager asked if our food or wine (which I was going to return) turned out ok, there was not even a hostess to ask if anybody cared for desert or coffee. Nearing the end of the meal, we were already pissed and promptly got the check, which came with an automatic gratuity of 15% -- I guess thats fine since we were five at the table. Overall, the whole experience was pretty poor, to say the least. We may try this place again next time were in town, but then again, we may not; there are literally at least 100 other restaurants in the neighborhood, so why settle for a hit or miss experience?

My wife and I traveled from Amaturo Theater to Boccaccino Cafe for a quick dinner and experienced total disappointment. We ordered the Mediterranean salad which was OK however was not offered any bread, after requesting bread we where served two rolls that looked like stones and tasted like freezer burn and appeared have been microwaved (deplorable). Our dinner entree included an order of Penne Ala Vodka and Chicken Parmesan. The Ala Vodka was terrible the pasta (not Penne) was overcooked or reheated several times and the Vodka sauce was watered down and appeared as a soup with no taste. (uneatable) The Chicken Parmesan was tasty and the spaghetti with tomato sauce was eatable. Overall the waitress and staff seemed pleasant and tried to accommodate however the proof lies with the quality of the food. I would not recommend this location for dinner, maybe grab a slice of pizza and go. Sorry guys!!!

Worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. My girlfriend and I walked in and no waitress offered to seat and welcome us. We waited awkwardly at the front desk for someone to take our order. The owner of the place was rude and nasty. He sucked his teeth when I told him we were dining in. He expected me to carry the hot pizza pan with my hands to the table. The workers there looked miserable and didnt acknowledge anyone. Overall, the food is good but the service is horrible. Theyre missing one ingredient that would take their restaurant to the next level and its kindness. Im a kind person and soft spoken and I dont know what possible made them treat my girlfriend and I like that.

Food was very fresh and well prepared. Service was friendly and prompt. Sat on deck away from traffic for perfect ocean view and less noise from A1A. I had seafood alla vodka and my wife had shrimp with oil and garlic. Latter they cooked to perfection and adapted to her picky palate. Seafood included shrimp, baby scallops and mussels. Generous portions. Tiramisu was fresh and made here. Bill was $70 included one glass wine and 15% automatic gratuity. Furnishings a little tired, but satisfactory for casual dining.

The service was poor, I could honestly say that they are kind of racist. I wanted to enjoy a little lunch with my little son he is 2 years old the waitresses saw us and they didnt approach us until I literally call one of them to give us a menu. They took forever to bring us our food and no one came over to apologize for the delay. if youre looking for a family friendly place to grab a quick bite. THIS IS NO THE PLACE THEY DONT LAKE KIDS
