I went with a few friends to Brus room a few weekends ago to enjoy the 2010 World Cup. They always have a decent price for buckets. It was like any other Saturday, looking for somewhere to grab a beer and a bite and watch sports. My friend went to take a sip of his beer, and cut his lip. We looked at his bottle mouth, and it was chipped. It was extremely obvious to us that the bar tender had used a bottle opener (which everyone does, no big deal) and broken the glass off with the cap. Still not a huge deal right? Wrong. The piece of glass was still in the bottle. I would say it was about the size and shape of a finger nail, bubbling in the bottom of my friends bottle of beer. Having worked at a server/bar back in college, I know how hazardous that is to your health. If he had swallowed the glass it could potentially have cut his intestines, stomach, esophagus etc... When I went to mention this to the server, no only did it take him greater than 15 minutes to get another beer over to us, we him if he understood how bad that could have been, his response was, "yeah that (cuss word) would have torn your insides going in and coming out." Great, thanks for the insight. Later when we asked for the check, we found they CHARGED us for the beer. So, I sought out a manager. The lady was nice, but only removed the beer. No comp, no coupons, only an "Im sorry" and the check. Feeling this was still not reasonable, I sought out another manager and ran into an owner. He removed another beer, with NO APOLOGY. Our total savings $4. Total cost to the bar about $1. Medical bill could have been...? I have been to many Brus Rooms in the last year I have lived here, watching almost every Ohio State Football game during the fall at that exact location. I now will never return. Like I mentioned earlier I have restaurant experience, and when any glass was broken, to ensure the safety of all of our patrons, we would shut down that bar, walk to another bar for all drinks and clean the bar top to bottom. Cleaning out the ice, condiments, anywhere glass could have gotten into and potentially been served to someone. Needless to say I would also recommend you find another place to eat. University is full of other "sports bars" with similar pricing and whatnot. Its not worth the risk!

I went there trying to have a good time, I have been to other brus rooms and never left disappointed but never went to this location so decided to try it although people from work told me there service was bad I decided to try it anyway, I should of listen! Although the DJ was good!!!!! no one came to take our order till 30 min later the waiter was lousy and lazy, he really didnt want to serve us! Brought our dinner before appetizers never came once in over an hour and a half to ask how our meal was or if we needed a drink... Over charged us for appetizers that supposbly are half off on Friday night gave me B/ S that I came before 10:00 realized I came after and then told me I should have told him because it was different size portions... I have been to other brus rooms and the size portions are the same he was just lazy to go change it!!! The wings we ordered came spilling oil from the bottom never came to clean it! If it wasnt because we had ate some food I would of got up and left!!!!! told him to get the manager disappeared on me again! Went to look for the manager explained to him the situation manager could care less!!! While explain to the manager a roach was crawling on the table of the people sitting in front of us!!! Manager killed it with ketchup bottle cleans bottle and put bottle back on table talking about nasty!!!! Manger gave me discount of ten dollars but was not worth it!! Did not leave tip for that was the worst rude waiter I have ever had!!! I will continue to go to other brus room locations but never again to the one in Coral Springs and University!!!!!!!

It is sad.... I used to go there since they opened and yes they have allllll changed their menu. The only one that is not owned by the same guy and did not change is the one on Federal Hwy! I was so shocked to see the change and this because they are opening up a Brus in Miami!!! WE ARE NOT MIAMI!!!!!!!!!!! STOP ! just stop changing cause you want to save a buck and u want to make them all like now your latest Miami drop! Why change something that is not broke! Y do you hire someone and let them do that!~ You dont even carry the seasoned fries anymore!!!! THE BEST SELLER when it comes to fries... OMG I went there and they said oooh ya we have them, they come out with S&P on them .. R U KIDDING ME!!! then the guy said ohhh no they are seasoned here let me put more on and he sat in the chair across from me and literally poured more S&P on there.. I was in shock!!!! really! so ashamed to even say I went there anymore! So now I take the BIG DRIVE out to Federal Hwy! ha ha even one of their former waitresses works there.. DONT BLAME HER for leaving that place... unreal sad... sad... sad. The only time I will go back is when I go to watch the games and drink, how can they poss. go wrong there??????

I was there this afternoon for lunch with my 3 year old daughter we sat outside in a booth and i had to get my own booster seay and clean it myself then my daughter had a accident and fell out of the booster and off the booth and hit jer face on the floor and started histericaly crying while my server litteraly stepped over her to get to another table without any hesitation she had no food or drinks in her hand and didnt even think anything for it my daughter was hurt so i picked her up infront of brus room staff and not 1 of them asked me if she was ok or does she need anything yet the other customers were very concerned about her as was i. I come to brus as aregular at the bar in the day to see erica and amanda to have lunch on my breaks from work . I am disappointed in the lack of concern for the customers and espescially a little 3 year old girl who was hurt in there resturant. I dont think i will be returning to this brus room again since the watress was rude and never once came to my table to see if we needed anything . Not good enough coral springs brus room STEP IT UP becuase u lost a great customer and i will make sure if someone asks me about you g u s i will

I went here about 3 weeks ago with a party of 20 people just to get a bad service and mistreat by this racist pig of a manager (TOM), THIS GUY was obnoxious trying to kick me and all my company just because we complaint about not having sound to the game, this guy has no idea how to communicate with customers, like I said he is racist and very very unprofessional, I will never go there again even tho I live 5 min away, second I am not the only one that is not happy with the service, look at all the reviews, I wrote to corporate and there answer was pretty much we dont care, they communicate it with me and respond it and I quote" We will have a meeting with all the managers" in conclusion this company does not reprimand the nasty actions of its employees they simply dont care This guy really racist and the funny thing is that I am a MARINE and yes I am Hispanic serving mine and his country, I dont need to be treat in such a low nasty obnoxious way, don try contacting thru this email as I only created to write this review and make people AWARE Of this unpleasant business,Needless to say I would also recommend you find another place to eat.
