Conclusion: mal servicio, comida buena y precio medio.

My fiancé and I along with her best friend dined here in part due to the city-wide Miami Spice program offered in August and September. Miami Spice offers a set price (usually less expensive than your typical experience) in an effort to get locals to try out new restaurants around town. But at Bulla Gastrobar, dont bother! The regular dinner menu seemed less expensive than the Spice menu, and of course the regular menu had a larger array of offerings. The 3 of split 2 orders of HUEVOS ‘BULLA’ (jumbo egg, homemade potato chips, Serrano ham, potato foam, truffle oil), an order of ALBÓNDIGAS (veal and pork meatballs, stracciatella, fried tomato), 2 orders of CROQUETAS DE JAMÓN (Ibérico ham croquettes, fig jelly) and 1 order of COSTILLAS DE RES (braised short ribs, tetilla, potato foam, red wine sauce). Our absolute favorite was the Huevos Bulla... its why we ordered it again! The croquettes were completely delicious... like no other croquettes Ive ever had... and Im Cuban! 100% delicious meal... and not expensive at all for 3 adults. This is a MUST try restaurant. Consider it added to the rotation!

This is my absolute FAVORITE restaurant in Miami. My husband and I moved to Miami one year ago from a small town and we were so excited to explore all of the restaurants that Miami has to offer. We discovered Bulla early on and were blown away. We have since tried many other top-rated restaurants in Miami and we just keep coming back to Bulla. Their Moscow Mules are the BEST Ive ever tasted (my husbands favorite drink is the Lemongrass Collins), the Leonora cheese is fantastic and their signature dish, Huevos Bulla, is out of this world! Those are must-haves! My other favorites are the dates, the patatas bravas, costillas and cochinillo. The atmosphere is fun, trendy and comfortable. And the churros for dessert! The staff is incredible, especially Jamie and Anna. If you havent tried this restaurant yet, go tonight! You will NOT be disappointed!

I wanted to like the place a lot more. I saw a video online for it and I was looking forward to trying it out on my trip back to my hometown of Miami. It wasnt exactly bad it just didnt quite live up to my expectations. First off let me say that all of the food was very good. It very much reminded me of my time in Spain. The papatas bravas were great. The potatoes were crispy and had that nice spicy aoli on them. That being said from a value perspective I felt that the portion size could have been quite a bit bigger. Sadly the service was quite slow, and the pitcher of sangria wasnt that great. Not to mention that the rest of the meal wasnt that memorable. It was a good meal, but if this place is out of your way or there is a long wait, I would pass it up.

The place is not bad, but beware of your checks, this has happened to me twice, last time last Thursday October 2nd, 2014. I did order 2 bottles of wine, one in happy hour one out of happy hour. I pay the first one on a separate check, and when I receive the second check for the second bottle, I see they have added another bottle, I complain and "supposedly" they void that check and get me a new one. Well, when I check online my bank account, they not only didnt void that check, they have charged me for the 3 of them and added a tip on their own to the one that was supposed to be void. Again, this is the SECOND time this happens to me in this place. Obviously now I have to take the time to go over and fight for the freaking check. Besides service takes for ever.

Genuinely impressive experience start to finish. The service and food quality are impeccable. This is one of those gastropubs where you cant go wrong no matter what you order. The salmon montaditos appetizer was one of the most delicious tapas plates Ive ever had in Miami. Literally everything I tried had vibrant flavor and was perfectly prepared. The "bulla burger" which is made with aged beef and served on a brioche bun was outstanding. The Burger was accompanied by truffle home fries that were perfectly crispy and satisfying. Prices are reasonable, which is a refreshing change of pace in the Gables. This is inarguably one of the best restaurants in Miami.

Great place to go with friends and have a good time trying different Tapas and drinks, the food was exquisite and the ambiance was very fun too they have music playing and the waiters are very polite. Great environment for different age groups, I would recommend that you try their croquettes! VERY good! I personally strongly believe that their prices as perfect t for your experience and food. I hate seeing reviews about price because going somewhere is a choice and the majority of restaurants let you see a menu before seating. So I encourage everyone to think twice before staining a restaurants reputation because of their price.

After dining, our waiter Jose gave us the bill. It was ridiculously overpriced. When I took a close look, he had charged us for two bottles of wine at regular price instead of two glasses of wine at happy hour price. When I told him that he had made a mistake he gave us the second bill but charged me full price instead of happy hour price. After pointing out yet another mistake on the bill, he gave me a horrible attitude instead of apologizing. It seems this is a scam so that customers pay a higher tip. Ill never return. Made me sick. I used to wait tables in college and I would have NEVER done this to my customers.

Anyone giving this place any less than 4 stars is really doing this restaurant a disservice. I had the fish when I went here, my friend got the paella. Both were EXCELLENT. The bread was great. The wine was really good. The service really could not have been better. The server was young, but completely on top of everything. We never had to wait long, the person serving us was very gracious, you really could not ask for better service. Finally the atmosphere was pretty ideal for a classy restaurant. In the Coral Gables area, this is one of the better restaurants easily.
