THIS IS THE WORST RESTAURANT IN MIAMI! IVE NEVER WRITTEN A BAD REVIEW FOR A RESTAURANT, EVER! IN FACT, IVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW, PERIOD! THE ONLY REASON IM WRITING THIS REVIEW IS BECAUSE OF THE TERRIBLE AND DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE I RECEIVED WHEN I ORDERED FOOD TO-GO ON 9/24/2014. WHOEVER OWNS THIS PLACE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN A RESTAURANT! I SIMPLY ORDERED A "VACA FRITA," WHEN MY FOOD WAS DELIVERED I RECEIVED A "ROPA VIEJA." I CALLED TO LET THEM KNOW THEY DELIVERED THE WRONG FOOD. THEY REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THEY REFUSED TO DELIVER ME THE RIGHT DISH. THEY TOLD ME IF I WANT THEM TO DELIVER A "VACA FRITA" THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR IT. MY GIRLFRIEND, A CUBAN, IS THE ONE WHO PLACED THE ORDER, SO THERE WAS NO LANGUAGE BARRIER HERE. I PERSONALLY DECIDED TO TRY AND CALL THE RESTAURANT, NO ONE WOULD SPEAK TO ME IN ENGLISH. THEY HUNG THE PHONE UP ON ME 3 TIMES. WHEN I FINALLY GOT SOMEONE ON THE PHONE THAT SPOKE ENGLISH, WHO HAPPENED TO BE THE MANAGER, I WAS FURIOUS, AND HE TOLD ME "FU@K YOU," AND HUNG UP THE PHONE. AT THAT POINT, MY MOTHER-IN-LAW, MY GIRLFRIENDS MOTHER, 100% CUBAN, WAS VERY UPSET THEY TREATED ME THAT WAY. SHE INSISTED THAT WE GO TO THE RESTAURANT IN PERSON. I ORDER FROM THIS PLACE ON A REGULAR BASIS, ONCE A WEEK, AND I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN! I HAVE NEVER FELT SO DISRESPECTED.

Id do my very best to stay away from this establishment. Apart from being a relatively dirty restaurant, the management is wholly inept and rude. Theyre unwilling to admit mistakes and are customer service averse. Les sugiero que hagan el mejor esfuerzo para mantenerse alejado de este establecimiento. Aparte de ser un restaurante relativamente sucio, la administración es totalmente inepto y grosero. No están dispuestos a admitir errores y el servicio al cliente es terrible.

Fui al restaurante pues decían en el menú que los domingos hacían arroz con calamares y todo lo que leí era buenos comentarios, el arroz nadaba en grasa y el calamar ni se veía, pedimos vaca frita y era igual muy grasosa, y no sabía a nada con exceso de cebolla encima, el servicio fue el peor que hemos tenido. En fin no regreso ni de gratis.

Muy buen servicio. La comida es excelente y muy buen precio. Cada vez que visitamos el lugar salimos muy complacidos con la calidad del servicio. Todos son muy amables y siempre tienen una sonrisa en sus caras, trabajan en equipo y se ayudan mutuamente para prestar buen servicio al cliente. Gracias por la consistencia en el servicio.

Muy bueno, la atencion y disponibilidad de sus empleados; asi como su comida deliciosa y con algunos detalles que la hacen especial. Luego de un viaje largo y un par de horas en la piscina del hotel, alli te recuperas con una muy buena cena y una cerveza corona que te sirven con una tajada de limón.

Un desastre, los empleados hacen lo k les da la gana y hablan como si estuvieran en un solar y te votan del restaurante aunk t sientes en la mesa t dicen para aki o para llevar? Hello??? Estoy sentado? si pides delivery preparate para esperar mas d una hora DESASTRE TOTAL. Mas nunca regreso a ese lugar .

The worst Mofongo ever. We first ordered the chicken soup and was excited to taste the Mofongo because the chicken soup was excellent! Once we received the Mofongo with Churasco the meat had a burnt taste and was dry we couldnt eat it. We advised the server and he apologized for not asking how we wanted the Churasco prepared and replaced it with a medium cooked meat. When we received the new Mofongo, the meat was tasteless and asked to take it home. When we came home, I tried to add flavor to the meat but, it was so bad, I gave it to my dog and he didnt eat it. Horrible!!!!!!! Dont get the Monfongo

This is my go to restaurant when I am on vacation the food is great and the service is just amazing. For the time I was able to go the management and service was always great. The best Cuban Food i have tried by far and it always tastes fresh and always served hot, and the prices are comfortable. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family that will go for their vacations. My favorite restaurant to go to and would not trade it. Can not wait to go back for my next vacation and enjoy their fresh Cuban food. Love it!!!

I personally go eat at the caribe café restaurant 4 or 5 times a week since two years ago. I have never had a problem with the service, or the management of that restaurant. The food is delicious, and the service spectacular. Everyone is so friendly that they make you feel at home.i would really like to invite everyone to go and have a family experience. Something you would never forget. Go try it out and give me a review here in goggle. God bless the Alvarado family and helps them to grow even more.

Food is good however the service is horrible. I have tried different locations of this restaurant including the one in Flagler but I have to say they dont know the first thing about customer service. They make you wait for your food 30-45 mins when you go through the window . They dont even give you utensils sometimes. If you are expecting great service and food together. DO NOT go to this place there are lots of better restaurants with better service !

Food was good and price was reasonable. Service needed improvement. Servers were not nice with non-latin people in our party. if u dont speak English you are in trouble. They do not speak English well and so it was hard to communicate and ask about their food which was new to us since we are from Texas and we have never try Caribbean food before.

Great recommendation from our car rental guru Fredy at Fox. As soon as we entered this location, we were treated incredibly. We didnt know what to order but our waitress helped us through the fantastic menu. I had the Troncho de Pescado and it was out of this world. Excellent food and excellent service... excellent experience!
