I went down to red robin with a group of 6 friends, preparing to have a nice meal in a reasonable time, before hanging out at the mall. That was my expectation, at least. What we received can only be described as sub par service. I wasnt that hungry when I entered, so I simply ordered the onion rings and fries, while my friends got some appetizers before ordering their main meal. The appetizers came out quick enough. 10 to 15 minutes. The waiter, whose name I cant recall, had been friendly, and it was nice. And then one of my clumsier friends spilled a water on our table. We asked for some napkins, but after that point the waiters attitude just seemed to sour, and it spiraled. The waiter did not check up on us after appetizers. They did not refill our drinks, even when they had been empty for half an hour. None of this bothered us too much, our group had dealt with busy places before, and knew how hectic it could get for servers. What bothered us was the increasingly mean tone she developed whenever we had to complain that our food hadnt arrived after an hour, or when we wanted a refill for a glass that was empty for 15 minutes. Of course, she never outright insulted us, but one can tell when there is genuine rudeness in someones voice. The kicker was the main course. We waited TWO HOURS for our food, and would have still been waiting if I hadnt gone up to the manager and told them we were ready to just pay for what we ate and leave. Only then did our food come out. We were excited, because it meant getting out of here. The food wasnt even warm. They made the food, and most likely had it sitting out there for an hour and a half before remembering to serve paying customers. One of my friends was almost livid at this point, and when she tried to explain the situation to the waiter, the waiter had the audacity to say we HAVENT BEEN WAITING TWO HOURS FOR LUKEWARM FOOD, and that we were exaggerating, with that same spiteful tone weve heard all afternoon. We came in at 3. We left at 5:45. We timed it. Do not eat here. The service was abysmal. If it wasnt for my own professional courtesy, I wouldnt leave a tip. Heck, I shouldve just asked for my food refunded. But Im just too respectful. Even when a gourmet burger place serves my friend a lukewarm burger.

4/23/17 update: 5 stars to Gary. Gary is the best server this location has. He had me scan my rewards card before he even took my order to make sure points were added. Impressive and a first in the 2 years I have eaten here. It was very busy and he never missed a step. Drinks were always refilled and I wasnt ignored like in previous visits. He is very efficient in all phases of his job. Great personality and he is a rare standout who seems to actually care how his customers are doing and how his service is. If you see this Gary, thanks for excelling at your job. Why cant everyone server be like him? Below is my review from mid 2016. 7 total visits to this place. 2 visits were total disasters with no tip left. Left 5 tips total although 2 were small tips (5%) reflecting the service on those 2 visits. Food is always good. Service is questionable half the time. I always factor in how busy they are and even when they arent busy at 11am, service still seems to be an issue. I also factor in how often the waitress makes herself available busy or not. On the last visit on July 3, 2016, the pregnant waitress checked on me after my waitress disappeared for 30 plus minutes. She refilled my drink and I was really thirsty by then and gave me the next batch of bottomless fries. She was struggling to walk and it wasnt her table, however, she took care of me since my waitress was MIA. Thats how sad the service was from my actual waitress Mallory, however, a typical situation from this location. Mallory did say one word, "sorry", when she finally made an appearance but it was too late. Thats the same word I would have used to describe the service from her. The 2 stars reflect the great food but the continuing below average service. The rewards program is one of only 2 reasons I keep going back besides saving $ on tips due to the service as bad as that is to say.

We are a family of 6, including 4 children. We have eaten here before, dining in. Today we decided to take out. So, the girl on the phone was super polite, friendly and professional. We were told out food would be ready in 17 minutes. I showed up about 20 minutes later. Food was not done yet. I paid, 68 dollars for the food at the bar. About 10 minutes later the food showed up At this point I was very happy I checked the order. It was missing all 6 drinks, the two soups and a kids meal. The bartender gave me the drinks and someone else ran the food out. When the $5.38 soups came out, there was maybe 1/2 inch of soup in each container about 6 inches square. This looked skimpy to me so i inquired. The manager came out and apologized and said they are fixing it. About 10 minutes later my soup came out. Maybe an inch and a half deep.. Still not generous and not worth $5.39 each. We asked for buffalo sauce repeatedly, but it never ended up in our bag. The drinks were supposed to be cheaper when ordered with a meal but we got charged the full price, with no refills obviously. The fries that are bottomless, were not too generous either. Overall, friendly but for 70 bucks, expected better and more,

Food and staff were excellent. Our server Zach was exceptional. He interacted well with our kids, caught on quickly to my preferances for no sugary drinks. He got the kids orders in quickly and really helped us have an enjoyable family dinner which is sometimes hard in a sit down restaurant with 5 and 3 year olds. I got the French onion soup which was pretty good and my husband got the chophouse burger which was delicious. The kids menus are great, photos and lots of options. Not the most healthy restaurant option, but definitely family friendly, yummy and great service.

We went to have lunch there today on the patio and were turned away because of our dog, our tiny little chinese crested. The hostess couldnt even be bothered to get the manager for us. Its hot in Fl and we cant leave the dog in the car. Why have a patio if you can bring in your harmless pet? We will never eat there again. The food is overpriced and usual wait time is half an hour. We were willing to over look that fact just to be able to sit outside with our pet. We came home and ate PBJ and saved 40 bucks. Screw you Red Robin.

This Red Robin is my absolute favorite place to eat. The food is great, but the most important thing is the servers and managers. Ive never felt such good/happy energy from a restaurant in my life. Beck, Nick, and the manager Josh made every experience an amazing one. I only come when they are working because theyre the best employees Ive ever ever EVER had serve me. And its always kept clean! 20/10 would recommend to eat at this location.
