Owner was extremely rude. She should definitely hire someone else for her role. I dont see how she could get this many stars as her cakes and customer service was horrible. Starting of I went in with my fiance, niece and mother for a little cake tasting. Was shown a few models of their work which all in all looked decent. She offered to taste her most popular cakes and fillings, after about 8 min came back with microwaved cake. Keep in mind we had an appointment with her, for this tasting. She took white cake microwaved it dabbed it with almond, rum, and vanilla whatever flavor cake was we asked to sample. Hell, I got a better cake tasting and customer service at Publix and at $650.00 for a 3 tier cake is a major rip-off. Avoid this place at all cost. Go to Walmart you will get a better deal on their frozen cake...if you want frozen cake that is or if youd like you can pay her $650.00 for her frozen cake. Why would a legitimate fresh cake from scratch bakery want you to sample a frozen cake. Her next appointment had came in and sat down she mentioned it in a rude fashion "thats my next appointment "like hurry up and go since your not buying anything. I will never buy anything from a rude person like yourself I am sorry to say but Great Customer Service gets my money. Publix is where Id recommend you go for great customer service and great tasting cakes.

I went in Chantilly Cakes with my niece. I was taking her around to several bakeries just to look at the cakes they had. We were then going to make an appointment to meet with the owners/handlers regarding her wedding cake. At Chantilly Cakes, a woman (whom I was later advised was the owner), came over to us and was extremely rude. She never gave us a chance to say that we were only in the area by chance at the last minute and I was showing Sarah some of the lovely cakes and that we had every intention of making an appointment to sit down and discuss the cake. My niece was so upset she was in tears because of how she was treated and made to feel like an idiot. A very nice woman who was in the shop and heard the exchange followed us out to our car and referred us to another bakery that specializes in wedding cakes and told us that the owners were the nicest and most pleasant and helpful individuals around and they made her wedding cake. She was only back at Chantilly to pick something up a co-worker had ordered. I will never go back to Chantilly Cakes. I have also heard that they never respond to emails and very rarely return phone calls. I would recommend Chantilly Cakes to no one.

It was a pleasure to work with Desiree, owner of Chantilly Cakes! She provided the beautiful and delicious cake for my wedding on 3/5/16. I went to Chantilly with my mom for a cake tasting about 3 months before the wedding date, and we had a great experience. Desiree encouraged us to try anything and everything and made great recommendations on cake/mousse flavor pairings to complement the Latin Nights/Tropical dinner menu we selected from Delectables. (Chantilly Cakes was part of our package with Delectables at the time, which it isnt any longer, but I would recommend Chantilly regardless!) Desiree was amazing with her email communication and prompt responses, and she went above and beyond with delivery and set up on The Big Day. Since our cake was going to be displayed outside, she made a plan to deliver as close to reception time as possible, and also volunteered to work with our florist to put the cake flowers on since our florist would be gone by the time the cake was arriving. I highly recommend working with Desiree!

We had bought a cake for $100 for a birthday and when it came time to eat it it was very dry and not that flavorful. The frosting tasted a little weird and the cake just crumbled and fell apart. Now usually when we get cakes everyone wants seconds but this time nobody did. The cake is just sitting in the refrigerator now. I really hate to waste food but no one wants to eat it. Im very disappointed because we couldve spent 40 dollars less on a bigger and tastier cake from Publix but we decided to try them out because of all the good reviews. Next time Ill just go with what I know is good. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the owner was very nice and helpful.

My husband and I got married last April in Clearwater. We are from Illinois and we were unsure of which places to go to for a wedding cake. Chantilly received excellent reviews from a wedding website so we thought we would give them a try. We made an appointment and had a great experience with the owner. She was very polite, knowledgeable, and accomodating. She made a beautiful and memorable wedding cake with a beach theme. My husband and I received several compliments from our wedding guests regarding the design and taste of the cake. It was just how we imagined it to be. We give Chantilly Cake two big thumbs up! We would recommend her cakes to anyone.

I live in Minnesota but my daughter was having a destination wedding in Clearwater Florida. Chantilly Cakes came highly recommended by the resort that was hosting the wedding. Desiree was very professional and flexible with our travel schedule as far as a tasting appointment. We ordered a creme cheese grooms cake that was custom decorated exactly as we had asked. It was delivered as espected at the restaurant where we had the rehearsal dinner and it was DELICIOUS!!!! The wedding cake was delivered to the venue on time and was absolutely beautiful. It was outrageously fabulous and delicious as well. I would highly recommend Desiree and Chantilly Cakes!

I got married on Halloween and wanted a really fun, funky, Halloween-themed wedding cake. Desiree was up to the challenge and oh man did she deliver! I got married 6 years ago and I kid you not - people STILL talk about my cake to this day. She listened to all of my requests, suggested ideas of her own, and what we came up with was something truly unique and memorable. The cake was absolutely delicious - so delicious that we followed up years later and had her make us a smaller anniversary cake in our favorite flavor. Desiree was truly interested in helping us and you can tell how much she cares about her brides and grooms. Highly recommended!

Fantastic cakes, excellent owner, buttercream frosting was delicious and everyone raved about our cakes! She came highly recommended from Elizabeth Craig at Countryside Country Club and we can see why. We looked no further after we met with her once. She designed our cake from a picture we found on Google Images and it was flawless! We had three tiers with two cakes per tier. We had a pineapple and coconut cake with pineapple puree for the top, spice cake with cream cheese for the two in the middle, and chocolate and raspberry amaretto with raspberry puree for the bottom. Absolutely amazing!

Our cake was amazing!!!! The ease of ordering our cake was easy. The staff are very professional and quick to respond to any questions I had. The cake flavors, size, and look were exactly what we asked for. The flavors were so good our guests raved about them and the cake was so moist I ate some the next morning with my coffee. The buttercream frosting was the best I have ever had. I would order another cake from Chantilly Cakes for any event or occasion.
