Ive been eating at Lennys on and off for years, let me begin by saying i have not once had a single bad experience here. First and foremost the food is amazing, my personal favorite the alligator omelet with hollandaise sauce is perfect every time. I know most people are used to very rubbery gator, this has not once been the case. the gator is always perfectly cooked all the way through but still nice and tender. I am an amateur bodybuilder and i have made it a tradition to come into lennys after every competition. so the high protein meal is great for me, I also always add on an order of a Big clif (biscuits and gravy) which is awesome, the biscuits are always nice and flaky and the sausage gravy is hearty and thick. I absolutely love it because it reminds me of the gravy my grandpa used to make me as a kid. the omelet also comes with a Danish basket i always get, the danishes are made by lennys and amazing, my personal favorite is the brownies, you really never know what mix youre going to get but lets be honest, it doesnt matter because they are all amazing. Finally i also get pancakes with my meal, the pancakes are always light and fluffy, not once have i seen anything but a perfect golden brown on them either. Perfect pancakes, delicious danishes, amazing biscuits and gravy and an absolutely killer gator omelet. These are just a couple reasons i come into lennys on a regular basis, Every staff member is just wonderful, all extremely good at what they do, weather its greeting you warmly and with a smile or quickly getting your drinks and food orders, Lennys is by far, i mean faaaaar the best breakfast place in the tampa bay area, hands down.

My Disappointment In Lennys for the first time! I eat here often and this is the first time I was unhappy. They need a lot more quality control. I showed with 28 other for a meeting of our group. First I sat there for 40 minutes before anything happened, Their new policy of not putting the danish on the table until you order left me starving while waiting for all of my group to arrive. Then though I was among the first to arrive I was the last to get my order taken, so it was over an hour before I ate. Only one waitress handling us all until another stepped in and finally took my order. I ordered the "Grandmaster" and on the menu it says "Corned beef and Pastrami Piled High..." This was a joke! There were like maybe three slices of each and a little bit of coleslaw in between, the top of the Bread was stale and semi hard like it had been siting out for a few hours. I normally never let anything like that get by, but in deference to the person who heads up the group I did not want to make waves. To top it all off the waitress when serving my friend across the table, pushed the plate across she knocked over a full glass of water and my friend had to sit there with wet pants and eat her food. Need I say more. I hope the management reads this and maybe I go back again. But Now Ill stick to the Lucky Dill They know what Piled High really means.

WHAT A TREAT!!..The food here is beyond AWESOME!..I am a regular customer and recommend this restaurant to every one i meet. My all time favorite thing to eat here is the Gator Omelette..mmmmm..so good!..I get it both Cajun and with hollandaise sauce. I also love the Duck Bacon!..thats right you read right!..Duck bacon is a delectable delight! Leaner that real bacon but with all the flavor..mmmm..I also love their Jalepeno bacon..."hot stuff"..loved it. The atmosphere here is very old fashioned. This is a Phillies place so if you dont like the Phillies get it your food to go then. LOL..Dont be scared if you go there and see a line out the door all the time. First of all the waiting room is outside and the line will go fast. Hint*if you dont want to wait for a table you can always go eat at the bar counter. Just as good!...Make sure you take your family and friends to enjoy a great breakfast cause they are not open for dinner...

In all fairness, dissapointed. The owner insists his local vendor provides him with Fresh squeezed orange Juice; All I have to say is the vendor is making a killing pouring Minute Maid juice into a new container...really! Owner needs to go to a NYC juice-stand and see the difference. The waffle was actually good but the fruit was not fresh either (sour) but I was hungry so I ate it. My girlfriend ordered Omelette, it was undercooked and the potato side looked more like carbon charcoal..she wasnt brave enough so I dont know about the quality. Waitress was not very friendly either, after GF sent back the Orange Juice she came back with a glass of water where half of it ended up on the table since she basically threw it instead of placing it. Overall, really not good, but we laughed with what was happening, one thing after the other one, so that counts as entertainment I guess, but not planning to go back anytime soon.

My husband & I went to Lennys for breakfast while visiting Clearwater/St Pete. We were very glad we went! The service and food were great! He ordered the corn beef hash amongst other things and enjoyed it more than he has in years. I dont know why he likes corn beef hash really, but for what it is worth, it was yummy to him. The star of my plate were the pancakes. Light and fluffy with a sweetness, very good, I wish I could re-create them. Also, they put a small basket of danishes, cinnamon rolls and other things on our table after ordering. I had to be sure to only sample them so that I wasnt full by the time our food arrived. If we find ourselves back in the area and it is time for breakfast, we will be sure to visit them again. Now, if only they could relocate to Jacksonville....

We moved to Clearwater a year ago and based on reviews, I knew we had to visit Lennys. We were not disappointed!! It is our favorite place to take all our visitors and we try to go as often as we can. From the friendly staff, to the great food, you just cant go wrong with Lennys!! The decor is kitschy and fun. When you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff and taken to your table. Service is quick and always friendly. There are pastry baskets that come with your entree that are incredible!! Our family is large and so between all of us and our friends, we have tried many items on the menu and never disappointed in any of them. You have to try this fun, yummy, friendly restaurant.

Huge menu that is very colorful in its description of the personalities that have gone into the making of this unique flavorful restaurant. Do not freak out about the parking. Someone will leave within a few minutes and a space wikk open, as the service is fast. I love the fact the menu is so varied. I got the Lorraine, which has exactly the amount of food I want. You can order French toast in many different ways. The amount of food they bring is a great value. If you dont go here to try it toy are just stupid. They even have a diner bar where you can sit at the counter. Very big city atmosphere. Enjoy
