The problem is the service. Not happy, but perhaps thats what i get for eating in dives disguising themselves as good local businesses I try to support. Got the chopped steak for lunch; they had a nice vegetable side of steamed green beans and cauliflower. I asked the waitress for no gravy on the meat. 20+ mins later the food comes out slathered in gravy that looked basically like it was made from flour, a little water, and food coloring. So I told the waitress- I ordered this with no gravy. She acted like it was the first time shed heard that. She had it re-made and it came out pretty quickly (now that I was 30 mins into lunch) but the veggies were green beans and sliced carrots (which I cant eat)! I asked her. "What happened to my cauliflower?" "We ran out, and once I bring your plate back in theres nothing I can do with it." In other words, its my fault that I missed out on the cauliflower. This same waitress messed up my order the other day and was neither apologetic nor gung ho to make things right. When I paid, the guy at the register asks me how everything was and I told him all the details. And hes like, "OK." OK Thats it. No apology, no offer to make things right. Seriously? Country boy has some decent, simple, very basic food if your server would only listen to what you want. Mine didnt- twice. And management thinks asking the right questions is good enough despite having no intention of making things right when things are wrong. Eeeeccchhh. Lost my business.

DO NOT ORDER BISCUITS AND GRAVY WITH SAUSAGE. That opinion based upon the upcharge of another breakfast selection instead of simply bringing me a bit more sausage to add to the gravy. (SEE PIC of sausage quality) Jan 7, 2017. 10:00am Ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage. I mistakenly forgot to add eggs of which they promptly brought me AFTER I complained of the LACK of sausage in the gravy. (instead of adding a bit of sausage the server charged me for the higher cost breakfast consisting of 2 sausages, 2 eggs, biscuit and gravy with home fries instead of the original order of biscuits and gravy WITH SAUSAGE. Honestly was about half a teaspoon of sausage over two biscuits. The sausage quality is extremely poor as well; my opinion) They offered no discount. HOWEVER, I would recommend the chopped steak? SEE PIC Cooked perfectly and tasty. Eggs were well cooked as well with average tasting water. (most eaterys have that dishwasher taste I find) THE SEATING IS VERY VERY SCARCE--on the weekend at the time of this visit. The had an entire section closed off in the rear while folks waited patiently in the lobby. I counted more than 10 folks waiting. Staff servers and host seemed courteous.

Our first time visiting this restaurant today, started out ok as we placed our order, then the waitress came back to tell us that one of our orders had to change "because there was not enough room on the grill" so instead of getting what my husband was really wanting, he had to settle for something else... ok then we waited, and waited, and waited...our food comes and my son had ordered spaghetti and it was to be expected- noodles with a canned sauce, my daughter got pancakes that had a lot of chocolate chips so she was pleased, and now to our food- he got a chopped steak- mehh tasteless, and I got pork chops- my husband had to try to cut them they were so dry and our baked potatoes were so dried out they were awful... so we spoke to the manager or owner... he seemed to not care and instead of voicing his concern at our less than satisfied experience of his restaurant, he just walked away... we will never return!

My friend and I went today for lunch to catch up on our lives. It was the second time there for me, my friend had been for breakfast several times. The minute we sat down we were handed our menus, fine, two minutes later, try to take order, havent even looked yet. Few minutes later, take order, just picked something to get the waitress to go away. The food was good, nothing amazing, but okay. The waitress comes again and says can I take your payment, I am getting off. RUDE!!!! Was not a pleasant lunch date at all. We had many other places we could have gone and we will from now on. Maybe she was having a bad day but now she made me have one as well. Too bad. Wont go back.

I wanted a side order of mac and cheese for my 17 month old daughter. They charged me the full $5 kids meal that wouldve came with chicken strips and a drink which I did not get. Upon noticing the bill they did take off a $1.50 but insisted it really should be $5 since mac and cheese is not a side order item. I made a wtf face. Maybe train your servers too to learn the menu. If its not optional as a side it would be nice to let the customer know they will be charged a full meal that way I could get my strips and drink anyway if Im getting charge the same. Also my greek chicken was bland. Their breakfast is typically good though.

Mediocre food. Didnt have the warm atmosphere people enjoy in places like this. I was charged $2 for hot water (I carry my own tea bags with me)!?! I inquired about it when the manager picked up my card and he said very curtly that it was listed on the menu. I hadnt looked because, well, who charges for tap water anyway? Then my friend and I were shooed out the door five minutes after they closed. Any other restaurant I have ever dined at stops accepting new customers at closing time, they dont make the existing ones leave. I wont be back nor recommend this restaurant to friends.

We kind of stumbled onto the Country boy restaurant one night while running errands in the area and have come back 3-4 times since. The hostess and waitstaff have been very friendly and we LOVE the Angus burgers!! Weve also tried some of the Greek food and its terrific as well. The fact that its home made food and family run is a plus. They seem to have a lot of specials that we havent tried yet but expect to!! Its kind of a throw back to the way local diners used to be before large corporately run places came around. We expect to return many, many more times !! Thank you !!

We love eating here. Its relaxed and friendly, and it was obvious from our first visit the staff appreciated our patronage. Lots of meal choices. The food is good and reasonably priced and they provide plenty on each plate. Our favorite part is the staff. After the first visit they knew our names and always take good care of everyone. Its also a comfortable place for the family with young children.

This place has become one of our regular spots. The menu has plenty of variety -- Greek, Italian, American, and more. Ive found several dishes that have become my favorites, the salmon and the steak Oscar to name a couple. Comfortable, family restaurant feel. Easy access for those in wheelchairs or scooters. Friendly staff. Good value for the money. Also has a frequent diner rewards program.
