Well Im new to the area I came here for some takeout I got a chicken pot pie in the split pea soup it was delicious and delightful everyone is finally and I couldnt wait to come back we came Rather late and they close at eight so I was a little upset I dont want to make anyone mad we ordered a burger and turkey with mashed potatoes and dressing and oh my God I never complain I work at a restaurant but the turkey and the stuffings were oldI didnt want to say any thing to my dining friend I figured it was just the end of the day maybe was just a fluke but then she bit into a burger and told me that it tasted terrible and it was rancidso we proceeded to let the waitress know that we cannot eat her food and we were displeasedThe owner proceeded to argue with my companion and I was just embarrassed I dont want to leave just review but I was just so upset about the way my food tasted that I dont think its right

My family and I went here for breakfast, I order the catfish with home fries, and they gave me cod fish. Now I tell you to know what you are buying ppl. Well I told the waiter that it was not catfish, she got mad and told the cook and another waitress and they all got upset and proceeded to talk out real loud like my table wasnt right there. The manager just walked away and said nothing. Very bad Customer service, my family will not be eating there again, and I hate to give bad reviews but this place has took the cake of any poor customer service trying to sale you some thing you know is not right. Know your stuff cause ppl like this will sale you anything if you let them.

My family and I recently visited Gulfport family restaurant this Sunday. We went in around 11:30 for a late breakfast/early lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy with half a dozen tables occupied and we were seated fairly quickly. The server was unable to assist us until about 20 minutes later. We never received any refills for our drinks and while the food was good the quality of service was lackluster. With the number of employees present, one could assert that service would have been quicker. I would rate the food at a 4 but the service as a 2.

Great food good prices would have given it 5 stars except for the 50 cent charge for using a debit card to pay without knowing before hand very tacky and annoying I know its only 50 cents but nobody does this. I would still go back even though because the food was great home cooked taste good portions not too salty or greasy. Decor was a bit old and run down but would go here anytime in the area over dennys or ihop and especially skyway jacks which has a nice homey decor but their food its gross despite their good reviews.

This is an old fashion dinner. Burgers, fries, meatloaf, fries fish. All of the people that worked there were helping and nice. I had chicken tenders, French fries, and collard greens. The portion size was enough for 2 meals. My buddy that introduced me to this place got a burger and fries. Looked good. And they gave us our drinks to go.

The food is homemade and very good. And they dont skip out on portion sizes either. The appearance brings out the history of Gulfport. All in all, I felt as if this was a great place to eat and not a squeeze on my wallet. But make sure you bring cash with you they dont take plastic as of right now.

I used to go up to get breakfast with a friend every day we had off together its homecooked food dirt cheep huge portion inside looks real cheep but has a rustic blast to the past breakfast was good kept coming back so it tells you something. Service was OK but its a small tiny dinner so....

Good dinner food. Very disappointed that they no long offer the Skymiles program. This is why we went there the first time. It seemed like after we used the Skymiles program they took it away. They also charge 50 cents just to use your credit card so be aware of this.

Food here is very good and very "home made.". Prices and portions are good and has that at-home touch. Service is good also. Decor is very dated, but all of the other aspects of this family restraint more than make up for it. Prices are very reasonable!
