All the more reason to continue eating local ... I have dined here on several occasions and never had a bad meal yet . Small , charming, clean and very busy . Located in a strip mall on Main Street this restaurant is kinda hard to find but once you do youll never forget . I have brought many friends and colleagues in after my first visit and they all loved it ... The management and staff are very welcoming and the service is exceptional even when busy. It seems to have a large local following also since Ive seen familiar faces at random visits during the week however on weekends because of its size there is always a line outside and the people dont seem to mind so neither was I ... If you are looking for great quality American food served fresh and way above par at cre affordable prices this is certainly a great place to start ... It may take a little longer to get your food but its well worth the wait and guaranteed fresh . I was referred to it by neighbors and I certainly was not misled .

We have been won over by this restaurant since its inception. We just got back to Dunedin and visited the new OUR PLACE. The new location is superb. more spacious, clean , inviting and takes it a step above that diner feeling. The food remains excellent and consistent and the owners are always present and hard at work. The service is commendable and servers are all very personable. My party of four ordered the fish and chips for dinner .. We were pleasantly surprised . it came with two huge pieces of fresh cod that dipped in fresh batter, creamy coleslaw and homemade potato chips or fries. The quality of the food was amazing not to mention taste as we all were satisfied. Our server was very attentive considering they were very busy that night. We had a wonderful time and will surely be back soon. Thank you.... your new location is a winner

25 minutes after order is placed without food or any service whatsoever is insane. Horrible service! I understand that this restaurant has a history of attacking the customer when they bring issues to them...either by justifying their lack of service, or commenting tgat the customer was at fault (usually they say that a customer stormed off" and "the waitress volunteered to take the food home", or some other odd excuse. Bottom line, when someone goes to a restaurant that has over 10 tables empty, orders the special of the day, and tries to get the waitresses attention for over 25 minutes, that is enough of a reason to avoid this restaurant. Sadly, I dont think this establishment will learn and grow from customer feedback. They only become defensive and blame it on the customer.

Went to dinner prior to 6pm. It was WELL after 6:30 when our food finally arrived. The table next to us came in 5-6 minutes after us and got their dinner first. My wife asked for loosely cooked bacon; it came burnt to a crisp! Her mash potatoes were ice cold and the corn seemed to be two days old. She sent the potatoes back to be warmed and they came back COLD again. Im certain they were not real, but instant. I ordered breakfast. My eggs were overcooked, the sausage tasted disgusting. My sourdough toast was good! Service with a smile, but very, very slow and the food was nothing near what "grandma makes" as one review said. I WILL NOT GO BACK.

Ordered twice before from this place and took over 45minutes for in person to-go order after church, Sundays. One time, I had dined in with my family before with no customers present, but still my kids fries came out burnt; thus my kids couldnt even eat it. Called today! At 9:55am (Sunday) to give it one last try, for a to-go order. After placing my to-go order over the phone with a waitress, a man tells her that they dont do to-go orders? Meanwhile the waitress didnt even know of such thing because obviously she took down my whole order and even told me the wait time will be 45minutes. Shame, losing money is never good for business.

Nothing fancy. Have been going to different restaurants at this location for years. This is average diner food at best. Prices are higher than other local venues. Staff is friendly and attentive, but this doesnt make up for the average quality food. What kind of place runs out of broccoli, green beans, and blue cheese dressing during a normal dinner service?! 32 dollars(including tip)for meatloaf and country fried steak dinners, with coffee and iced tea to drink! We wont be back! Sorry if you feel the review is harsh, but it is truthful. Again, food is good(average) but not a good "bang for the buck".

Food was pretty good. Place was clean. Service was good. Had an omelet and bagel. I kind of got one over on them. They have a build your own omelet for $7.95 three toppings. They have a meat lovers for $8.95 three toppings. So I built my own with an extra topping for the same price as a meat lovers and got one over on the man. Anyways. It was very filling. And the bagel was pretty amazing. Which leads me to believe they probably get them from a local bakery which is always a plus. Now its 24hrs we will probably eat there after work on Saturdays. Support local small businesses this restaurant is great.

My family ordered 3 prime rib, with sides of mash potatoes, baked potatoes, and .mixed vegetables. All of the meat pieces were extremely dry with no flavoring. The mixed vegetables were overcooked, and the baked potatoes were so dry, it felt as if we were eating sand. No matter how simple the foods were, it was not worth the price at all. The only thing that we could somewhat finish to eat was mash potatoes. Were not sure if we ordered the wrong items, or we came at a bad time, but I would not recommend coming here unless desperate for bland, overcooked, and dry food.

A pleasure to be a customer here . My family and I have been won over since we’ve stared coming here about three months ago . The restaurant is clean and the decor is a modern red wall, black and white trim. We are regulars for breakfast are yet to be disappointed . Their steak and eggs are unbeatable especially for the price , crab cake Benedict and eggs Benedict are on point. Eggs cooked like my mom made them. Be sure to try their cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting . It’s a meal by itself. We will be back again and again. Thanks to the management and staff.

We had been wanting to try the place, and after the first visit we will not be going back. I asked about the corned beef hash, was told it was homemade, but it was so obviously canned - had that dog food appearance. Not sure if the grits are real or instant because they went back with hash. The waitress Vanessa was not nice about the hash and argued it was homemade. Second attempt go t a veggie omelet with cheddar, but it came out with Swiss. Home fries bland, the person eating French toast said hers was good, but for hash and eggs very disappointing.

Had several wonderful meals here. Had breakfast today for the first time ( Dunedin Breakfast) which was huge . Our server was prompt , polite and very informed about the specials and in giving us suggestions . I have also had dinner here which was superb ( try the lasagna) and I frequent late night after work since they are 24 hours . I must say that the service I’ve had this morning, for dinner and late night were all consistent . Friendly, accommodating and the food is very good . If you want great home cooked meals I suggest you try them.
