This is a great place for breakfast. It is located in an area that isnt usually thought of as having a restaurant. It is know however by the locals! It has been there forever and has a very relaxed atmosphere. It is NOT your Dennys or iHop. It is much better. The decor reflects the local area with mounted fish on the wall. Also the service is good. Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about but I have never had a problem. And we go at least once a month. They have the best pancakes and breakfast sandwich around. Also for lunch if you are lucky enough to be there when meatloaf offered.......get it. The best I have ever had. The other plus is I have never had to wait for a seat. It is average as far as cleanliness but I think that is more of the older decor. Which in my opinion adds to the charm. You dont find places like this much anymore!

Went there on 05/10/2016, was told to sit "wherever we would like" the waitress seemed to be stand offish right away. She asked us what we wanted to drink, brought them back to the table and then walked away and never came back. My friend and I sat there for a total of 25 min being blatantly ignored. We finally decided to leave some money on the table for the drinks and left. Upon walking out they condescendingly announce "Thanks ladies" I called and asked to speak with the manager who also seemed not to care. Oh well, might have some average food but service needs improvement.

Good food and great service! When our food arrived, our waitress even went as far as to go get my friend who stepped outside to take a call. Very friendly and healthy food options too. I wouldve given them 5 stars, but my lettuce in salad was visibly wilted and I didnt want to ask for them to switch it out because they were busy. The blackened chicken was flavorful so dont discount food quality.

We ate breakfast here. Not the greatest experience. The waitress looked and acted strung out on dope. Food wasnt bad but it wasnt nothing special either. The waitress took me and my sons empty orange juice glasses away right when our food came out. And never offered to refill them or ask if we would like water or something else to drink.

far from a chain restaurant and thats why we love it. Its not big and very casual with good food. only open for bfast and lunch. I had a familiar bfast sandwich, eggs, bacon, and cheese on a croissant. very good with good real coffee. I worry about too many good reviews because none locals may overrun the place, selfish I know

We had just finished our cruise and wanted to find a local place close to the port for breakfast, so we found this place. It had really good home style food with healthy portions. The made from scratch biscuits were awesome! My only negative was that the coffee wasnt great (typical diner coffee), but Im a coffee snob anyway.

Your fish & chips was extremely delicious. We had family visiting from London & had to find the perfect fish & chips for them . Bingo Portside in Cocoa Beach is the best. I will always return & recommend to my friends & family. I am very picky with my eating out, & you surely made my lunch a memorable one.

Ordered take out. Upgraded chips to onion rings. There was only five onion rings for the $1.99 up charge. The soup I ordered was not in my bag. The roast beef on the club sandwich was so dry that I had to remove it. Overall, I was very disappointed. It was my first visit and probably my last.

Toast was brought out way too in advance of food. Have gone here for years, and this has happened the last couple times. Portions are smaller, and long wait for food, when only 3 booths were occupied. Rethinking about ever returning to Portside Galley.

My husband and I go here every Saturday morning for breakfast. If you love a great "greasy spoon", this is it. The food is consistently good and service is friendly. Owner is accessible and comes out to greet us when hes there. Dont miss this spot.

Had a great breakfast with my girlfriend there during independence day weekend. The decor was great. The service was what you would expect for a busy, undestaffed greasy spoon. But the food was spot on. Loved every bite.

Cozy little diner open for breakfast and lunch. In a town full of over priced tourist traps Portside is an inexpensive option with good food. Their biscuits and gravy in particular are very good and large portions.

Breakfast at Portside Galley is great. Plenty of menu choices to satisfy any taste and/or craving, plus if they are not too busy the chef just might make your special request.

Very good! The interior looks a little dated but It is clean. There are some visually pleasing fish mounted on the walls. The food and service are excellent.

This place is not touristy at all. It is almost all locals, and their breakfast is excellent. They also have key lime candies(which you cant get back in PA).
