My family and I have been going to Apollo Diner for many years. Generally speaking, the food and service are outstanding. However, one of the owners serves there occasionally, named Christina, and she is AWFUL. Christina is slow, inattentive, and unpleasant; sometimes even rude. I was there with a friend on our lunch break a few days ago and she waited ten minutes before bringing us menus, another five minutes before bringing our drinks, and another ten minutes before taking our order. When she finally brought our food, it was cold and had obviously been sitting out for some time. We were there for a solid hour, when normally we are in and out in 30-40 minutes. Our drinks went dry and she didnt even offer to refill them. In addition, Christina often brings her very young daughter to work in the evenings and leaves the toddler by herself at a table. The unattended toddler then walks around talking to the patrons, sometimes for more than five minutes before Christina comes to collect the child. Its really poor form and makes the entire experience less than desirable.

My husband and I along with other family members have been going to Apollo Diner since it opened in either 2005-2006. Prior to that they owned Colossus on Wickham Rd. which we started going there in 1992. We have NEVER had a bad meal at either restaurants. In our estimation it is the BEST family homemade food anywhere!! It is hard to name which entrees are our favorite, but I will attempt to list a few. I particularly love their Grecian Omelet and my husband has a hard time deciding on the Popeye Omelet and the Pecan Pancakes for breakfast. For lunch we love the Gyros, Half Baked Chicken, Large Shrimp basket, Hamburgers and their Cold Cut Sandwich. Their hot Turkey and Roast Beef sandwiches are so delicious. Their Greek meals are to die for! This is just the "tip of the iceberg:, since I cant begin to name everything. The help always makes us feel welcome which also drives us to this restaurant. We will continue to go their generally on the average of 5-6 times a week!!

This was a GREAT spot! My parents and I were visiting from Michigan because my brother was performing at the Runaway Country Music Festival. We came in for a late dinner on Friday night and the food and service were excellent. The prices were also very reasonable. Tammy was our server, and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. I had a veggie pita, my mom had a Greek salad, and my dad had shepherds pie. Tammy was so nice-- she gave us the Runaway Country advertisement/banner that was hanging in the restaurant window. My mom was thrilled. We were so pleased with our dinner experience that we returned for breakfast on Saturday morning and Sunday morning. Saturday and Sunday were busy, but the staff remained friendly and the food came just as fast. Julie was our server on Saturday, and she was lovely. I highly recommend this diner for anyone for any meal! Enjoy!

I tried to be a regular at this restaurant for breakfast and each time Ive gone there its been a disappointment. The last time I went there the creamer that says keep refrigerated was warm, and when we ask for cold creamers the waitress gave us warmer ones that were "sweating". The food was served warm with a small hair on the side. When I went to pay, the person at the register asked how my food was. I said "horrible" and she replied "oh" and that was it, she didnt even want to know why so that maybe they could work on it. If they want to sell this business for a million dollars its going to need a new staff and a whole lot of work.

Old-fashioned restaurant with a down-home feel. Very friendly staff and terrific food. 5 of us went for a Sunday breakfast/brunch, of which two were handicapped. No hassle with mobility chair or walkers either parking or entering. Fast service and good coffee...everything we went for without a huge crowd.

This is a sure bet, any time you go. Food is delicious, comes out hot, and looks as good as it tastes. Staff is friendly, makes you feel like family. Even crowded days the wait is not bad, they are very efficient, and cater to your needs appropriately. Never had a bad meal .... EVER

Breakfast is DELICIOUS!!! So much better than your typical restaurant chain like Dennys. Cost is on the moderate side but its well worth it! If youre looking for a friendly place to frequent for Breakfast, This is the place to go!

Good and extensive food options. Awesome homemade pies and Greek pasteries. Staff a bit loud at times but generally kind and helpful. Love the food and visit frequently. Can get very busy.

Great place. Excellent food. I work across the street and eat there regularly. The lasagna was like what I got in Rome six months ago. Still need to try the spinach pie.

This was my go to restaurant before moving away. Huge portions, great menu, fair prices. Im reminiscing for some home cooked meals just thinking about Apollo Diner.

Food was fine. Service was grumpy and an ordered item didnt make it into one meal. Maybe it was just a bad day, not a cheerful place at all.

Always get a wonderful meal. Love their marinara sauce. Always receive a large portion. Must try their Caeser salad, they make the dressing.

I had a basic breakfast bacon, eggs, hash browns, but my sister had Eggs Benedict that looked very good and she said it was very good.
