Would rate 5 stars but had a horrible experience with the deli manager. I shop at publix weekly and have NEVER EVER had a problem there until today 4/17/14. I used the online order feature to order 3 subs. I had specific instructions, yet when I got home 2 of my 3 subs were incorrect. I called to let them know of their mistake and was argued with by the deli manager who prepared my order. She insisted to tell me that she followed specific instructions and that what I put on the instructions is exactly what she did. The first sub was made perfectly. The second sub was an boars head ultimate, my specific instructions were: NO ROAST BEEF, DOUBLE HAM INSTEAD, ADD SUB SAUCE. There was no sub sauce and there was roast beef on it still. The third sub was another boars head ultimate, specific instructions were: SWITCH ROAST BEEF WITH BOARS HEAD CHICKEN, LOTS OF MAYO, ADD SUB SAUCE. The first half of that sub was the regular ultimate with roast beef, the second half was with turkey, ham, & BOLOGNA! When I told the deli manager that there was bologna on there she insisted to tell me that there wasnt and that she prepared the order exactly as it stated. She then argued with me saying that boars head does not make bologna and she did not make a mistake. She did say sorry but very insincerely. So I told her would she like to see the bologna that was on it & she said yes, bring it to me so I can see my mistake. My husband had to take his sub there just to prove to her that there was bologna on it, and then they made him a new half a sub. That to me is very very poor customer service on their part. I will still shop at publix but I will not be using online ordering service again. Something that was made to make life easier just complicated it even more. Id rather wait in line & have a correct sub since Im watching everything they do than have it made ahead of time and it not be what I wanted.

3 months ago i had gone into this publix and i dealt with a very rude chick in the deli spot, rolling her eyes because she did not want to work that day and was taking it out on customers (myself included) to the point that i left the sandwhich and walked away and reported her to the "Manager" only to find out he had done absolutely NOTHING about it. A couple of days ago i went to the deli to get a wrap and me giving her the benefit of the doubt i let her make my wrap, now i always get this wrap when i go to the deli and i always ask for hummus, no one in there has ever told me that a condiment was extra until i got my order from her and i had asked other workers if the hummus is extra and they looked at me as if i had three heads because it is not at all. This child has been holding a grudge since 3 months ago and charged me 2 dollars for the hummus on top of the extra meat i had asked for. I always get the publix meat because the wrap itself with publix is about 5.50 with extra meat its 6.20 and my total came out close to $9 dollars with tax.. is she really that pathetic? The customer service in the deli is extremely poor and needs to be fixed immediately because believe it or not when you get food from somewhere the food taste alot better when the service is good but when the service is terrible the food is not so great because of the salty taste they leave in our mouths. This will be the last time the girl with a half shaved head will ever make my order and should not be working in a place she obviously hates. Although, this review deserves a 1 star i am giving a 2 because not all of them are this rude but most of them dont seem to understand what it is to be respectful and to just do their job.

I placed an order for a simple, easy to order item with the team leader of the Customer Service Department several weeks ago. After placing the order I was told by their team leader, as expected, that I would receive a phone call when it arrives. Some time passed and I called this store to check the status of my order, and a Customer Service associate informed me no such order had been placed. I was transferred over to their Grocery Manager and placed the order with him over the phone and he assured me someone would get back to me regarding the status of my order in a few days. A week passes. I show up to the store in person, speak with the Grocery manager and he informs me that the "item is unavailable" and had a form in his hand saying "customer notified." I was never notified. I never got a call. I like Publix, but this store and its management in particular need to get their "Customer Service" as well as their attitudes, together.

THE WORST!!!!! At the sushi counter I asked if I could buy just a bit of pickled ginger for my sushi (as I didnt need a whole jar) the woman making sushi responded "NOOOHH you buy in JAHHR!" Well thank you for the "service?". Then I asked an employee where the organic grocery section was, her reply "I am not on the clock so I am not suppose to answer your question...but over there is the customer service desk" Well thank you!! there are 5 people lined up with their lottery tickets, etc...... Honey you could have easily pointed me to the section I asked about... At that point I left my groceries in the cart and walked out. I will not be back. I can go to Winn-Dixie and employees greet me and ASK me if they can help..... and it is less expensive. BYE BYE Publix will not be back.

I bought a bottle of wine that was marked down and u guys charged me the original price for it. Then when I took it to customer service like a criminal I was made to walk with the attendant there all The way back to show her the sign! Dude its not my fault ur system is faulty! And this is not the first time. I have been "public promised" several times. Over 10 time in the past 2 months! Because like a hawk I check my receipt! People buying at publix be aware of ur receipt! Check every item! Especially marked down ones! Many a times u are paying more than the actual published price! Is this a system error or a management error?! What happens to all the extra dollars u collect.. Dont tell me it goes to ur so called helping the community schemes.. Haha what local Robin hoods!

This store is not the closest to my house but its the one I rather shop at. Always busy at lunch and dinner though. Its understandable considering theyre by the expressway exit and the mall. The service for this store is great. All the employees are super friendly helpful regardless of how busy they are. Its exactly what I expect from Publix. All these bad reviews for this store are way off and probably based off of a single visit. This Publix is not a neighborhood Publix. It is by a mall for pete sake. It is in a high traffic location. I make it a point to go in the morning when its slower. I have my employees that I say "hi" to and they know me. Its a no brainer with Walmart across the street and a Super Target down the road. I choose Publix every time.
