...and make your own judgment. I dont write reviews much, but I have a review for the reviewer. I am a esteemed professional in the business, and this chump writing the "review" possesses little if no ability to capture his/her experience in a way that gives him/her any justification for the the "slanderous opinion"( is what it amounts to ) in a so called review. I think it should have been focused on another website for dealing with narrow-minded high expectations and the disappointment that ensues when you have no control over your needs, let alone when combined leaves you clamoring for attention. I was a restaurant chef at a 5-star world class hotel not to be named, and there was a birthday party in one of the banquet halls. When it came time to get the birthday cake after the dinner, there was none!! WOW! an almost 6 figure bill and no cake!! Well the fact that the Captains sheet said no nuts, nut allergy etc. had gone unnoticed in the panic to satisfy the customer. A rack full of Linzertorte had been raided for the next days brunch, they got all fancied up with fruit and such. No nuts!! could be seen....all was good, apologies and acceptances were made... Until shock set in from the nut allergy All had failed to realize the crust of that tasty treat was hazelnut flour. That man died on his birthday I can scrutinize every establishment Ive ever been in or worked for, but I have the experience to know that the most people in this industry have nothing but high prioritys, goals and expectations of themselves to make a customer happy Its the sorry lot that have no compassion or understanding that gives "customer service" a bad name.... deprorable fuimos a cenar el muchacho que nos atendio sele pidio tres veses agua y nunca la trajo se pidio arros para mi hijo que nunca se le sirvio pero ala hora de cobrar si me la cobraron y todavia que se les aclaro que tan deploravle es el servicio que tuvieron el cinosmo de decir que nos esperaramos que ivan a cosinar el arros para el niño si no pedimos comida para llevar sin pasar por alto que los baños son una porqueria simplemente una porqueria en mi vida me vuelvo a parar a ese restaurant

If I could rate lower I would! I went to this place for a birthday dinner I had planned for a friend. I had reservations for 7pm, when we got there after about 15-20 minutes they sat a large party that didnt have reservations before they sat us, we had the same number of people. The food was awful, and the server was awful. I had a coupon and so did another couple that came with us. No where on the coupon did it state that you could only use one per table. However we spent about 15 minutes arguing with hosts, after repeatedly asking for a manager about this issue. Because we had 3 different checks. When asked if they would have accepted it if we hadnt come together as a party they said yes. Then they turned around and said no, if two different parties at the same table then only one would get the coupon even if we didnt come together. Anyways, jotos is much better and only about $3 more per entree. Needless to say we will never return to the rude staff, poor service and food.

Only reason Im giving one star is because I ant give it a zero!! Waitress was nice but our chef was a total nimrod. I told Waitress I wanted no rice noodles instead. Chef even confirmed it with me before he started cooking , but he gave the most rice out of everyone at my table, and a total of 8 vegetables!! Wtf?!? Also he squirted oil in my dads face as some kind of stupid joke, 3 out of the 4 people in our party wanted there steak medium rare one wanted medium well. He cooks the steak accordingly and at the second before serving he mixed it all together. Lmao some of the chicken was still raw,rice was overcooked. And as he was cooking he flips the raw chicken over the vegetables. Do they even train these people? Terrible experience wont be going back. Will take my business elsewhere.

Greeted immediately at the door. We were taken to our hibachi seating. Server promptly took our drink order. Drinks came with soup and salad. Salad was not the traditional Japanese Steak House dressing, but it was very tasty. Our chef arrived and from the very beginning, he put on a great show. Talented cook and showman. I had the 3 combo, lobster, scallops and shrimp. Everything was top notch including the fried rice. We were totally pleased with our entire experience. Very friendly staff. We will definitely be returning.

My family and I love Japenese restaurants with the hibatchi grill and this place was the best yet! It was our first time there and our experience was very memorable. Our chef had us laughing the whole time! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Our food was excellent, service was great, the restaurant itself was very clean and just an overall nice atmosphere! I even brought home leftovers because I couldnt finish the amount of food we were given! We will be going back again and again!

Ive been eating here for years, it is by far the best Japanese place around. WAY better than JoTo. The Sushi is amazing, try the Godzilla rolls. Hibachi is phenomenal. Every chef has been excellent. One of my favorite places to eat out and celebrate any occasion. PRO TIP - lunch menu is the same food and portions for about half the price!

Whole family got sick after eating sushi. Steak was very tough. Waitstaff was rude and charged a plate share fee for my three year old to share a plate with us. Weve gone before and it was ok, but food quality has decreased significantly since it first opened. Jotos is pretty reliable locally, Ive never gotten sick from their sushi!

3 stars because the old owner sold it. Food was absolutely amazing and servers were so friendly. New owner and staff are not very friendly and in my opinion food quality has decreased. Lunch combos are the way to go and good bento box. I always recommend the LongBoat Key roll.

Fantastic, Ask for Mandy! Lunch pricing vs dinner pricing, who cares. Its all about the experience, and you wont get a better hibachi experience anywhere else. If you want to nickel and dime an establishment, choose between McDobalds and Burger King.

Worse lame teppaneki dinner show ever. Chefs are lazy. Seafood was not fresh. Lobster tail was tiny and rancid. Salmon had fishy smell. Be warned not a Japanese restaurant but just another dirty low quality Chinese owned restaurant.

IT Was horrible.. The rice was hard and the chef gave away my order of extra shrimp to another party Nd I had to pay for them.. It has bugs and the silverware was dirty. NEVER EAT THERE I GAVE THEM NOT 1 NOT 2 BUT 3 CHANCES UGHH

I take the family here for lunch every so often. My 3 year old loves the "fire" and calls this the "fire" restaurant. The chefs are top notch and very friendly. Quite personable too. The food is very good and portions are huge.
