My girlfriend suggested we have lunch here. Im very glad she did. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was fantastic. Our server (I cant remember her name) was great. She was there when we needed her, and wasnt in our face when we didnt, she really knew her stuff. Our food was out in about half the time I expected, and it was all so tasty. I ate bar food, chips with gravy and fried mushrooms, my girl went for dinner fare and had some sort of vegetables with shrimp skillet. Everything was top notch. My chips were crunchy where they should be, squishy where they should be, and the gravy was awesome. The mushrooms are hand breaded to order, and it showed, they werent soggy or greasy as fried foods sometimes are, they were crisp and tasty. My girlfriend absolutely raved about her dish, as well. You could tell by the quality and variety of the vegetables that they werent out of a bag of frozen stuff, they were fresh, and delicious. I would rate the food AND the service a 6 out of 5 stars if Google would let me. Ill definitely recommend this place to my friends, and Ill definitely be back.

The food is outstanding. The patio can get noise if busy. You can also sit inside were the atmosphere is more acceptable. I do recommend any of the dinners which I have had most of them. They have daily specials. Chicken Wellington is my favorite, and for the big appetite, check out the Pot Roast dinner, served with Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Carrots, Yorkshire Pudding with Brown Gravy on a large plate. Most dishes are less than $15.00 pp.

So we came to Bonita Springs for the weekend to visit family and we happen to find this place. Our waiter was simply amazing!!!! We ordered the Prime Rib sandwich, the PotRoast and the mushrooms soup. Everything about this was amazing. We are currently sitting in the parking lot talking about how good it is here. We will be back

I love love love love the BLT here!! I ask for turkey on my BLT always but at The British Open Pub they go above and beyond when I order the "BLTT"! Always tasty and great quality food! My family has lived within 5 minutes of the pub for years. I will continue to have my BLTT here and other great meals for years to come!

Love this place! Great food. They opened early more than once to accommodate a large office to go order. Thank you! Prime rib sandwich is the best! But Ive also heard great things about all the other dishes ordered by my staff of 17. We highly recommend this restaurant. The owners are lovely people as well.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I had the prime rib sandwedge and didnt leave a crumb on the plate. Tender slices of ribeye, mushrooms, onions, mozzarella and horseradish on a soft yet cruchy roll! Cant wait to get back! Tons of great golf memorabilia make for interesting chit chat.

Enjoyed melt in your mouth pot roast and my wife had chicken and broccoli both wrapped in a flaky crust. Topped it off with a Guiness on tap. Nice decore and pleasant atmosphere. Great service. Outdoor seating available. Reasonable prices. Come on Sunday night for special roast night.

Just got home from a very enjoyable experience at the British Open Pub. It started with a phone call to the restaurant. We wanted to know how long a wait. It turned out to be no wait, so we headed up. I had the pot roast and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were excellent.

Coming from England originally, I am rather partial to the fish & chips. The last time we were in the British Open was in 2005, and my husband still talks about the F&C. Heading there in a couple of weeks. Cant wait, and glad to see the "nosh" is just as good as it always was.

The wonderful ladies that greeted and seated us were fantastic. The food was very good as well however, our young sever Valerie needs a lesson on being much more attentive to her guests and not be outside socializing with other servers and playing on her cell phone.

Asked to speak to a manager to arrange for seating of about 20, and was told by the 12 year old hostess to "come back tomorrow, he is too busy" apparently they do not need the business. Very anti-Veteran I guess, since my group were all soldiers. Go back to England!

The British Open Pub has great food, and of course, a great selection of British and American beers. They serve a variety of local craft beers on tap as well. I recently had some mushroom soup that is the best I have ever had (except for my wifes of course).

ordered cod sandwich. with fires... the cod was very oily and so were the fires. sent them back and ordered a med rare hamburger which was medium and tasteless. Disappointing for me . My wife had the pot pie and it was good.
