We love this place and have been here a few times. The food was excellent during lunch and the server was very nice. Unfortunately the meal was spoiled and our visit when we got the bill. The burrito was priced during lunch around 8 dollars. The pollo a la yucateca was priced at about 10 dollars, the guacamole that was offered was an absurd $12! When we told the server she went to the back and told the owner or manager. When she came back she had a face like "yeah they didnt care". It sucks that such a great meal during lunch was spoiled over price gouging. I cant believe they would charge $12 for essentially 1 avocado. I was even telling my wife that we should come here more often, but that wont happen over something so stupid as charging $12 for an avocado.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have found in Miami! It is a small, intimitate place, in a strip mall, but the decor is well done and sophisticated. We tried the shrimp ceviche with mango; it was the BEST ceviche Ive ever had. Our favorite entree was the flautas de mole and the Mole sauce was perfect, with a hint of chocolate and lots of flavor. The ingredients were fresh and food was prepared beautifully, wonderfully seasoned and not greasy. The service was great and our waitress was there refilling drinks and tortilla chips before we asked. I cannot wait to return and try more of the menu. We had trouble deciding what to eat because everything sounded so tasty!

This is no lie!!!....I went to this restaurant and had EXCELLENT, BEYOND EXCELLENT service. Very attentive, sensitive to what you would like included or excluded from your meal. Constantly checked on us, kept everything filled and removed empty plates when necessary. Kind, welcoming and also a mellow, dim light clean experience. They seem really genuine, not the fake, phony gitty service but sincere and genuine. Food was very good, especially the guacamole. Nice flat screens mounted up for you to enjoy watching. If you are from out of town and want some great Mexican food with excellent service, then go to this place. 5 stars!!!!

we found this place by accident while trying to eat at another restaurant in the same strip mall. the food is great, the service is great, the whole experience is great. I recommend them to my customers and friends often. the ceviche is off the chain. ps, other restaurant owners (whom I know) frequent this restaurant. while eating dinner there last night 02/07/14 we overheard another customer telling the owner they found them on google while searching restaurants in south florida. they were from Oklahoma and had the same good things to say about the reviews they read and the experience they were having while eating there. My wife and I found this great restaurant while visiting last weekend. We started with a round of margaritas and Queso Fundido with Chiorzo. Both the drinks and appetizer were delicious. Entrees of Mahi(special) and Carne al Tamarindo were beyond delicious. By far the best Mexican food that I have ever had. Everything was fresh and so flavorful without being a mess of cheese, beans, rice that is what we often see presented as Mexican food. Unfortunately where we live in Central FL there is nothing like this. We can not wait to go back to Miami to eat there again.

Went here for the first time based on Yelp reviews. Service was quick. The menu has everything youd probably want, and we tried the tacos al pastor and tacos asada. Typically Im frustrated by plain steak tacos with some onions or cilantro on top, but the al pastor with steak was amazing. Very flavorful. The other ones looks great too, with grilled scallions and avocados. The spicy salsa they give you with chips was good too. Not too spicy. Its in a strip mall. The only downside is that it doesnt have "hole in the wall" prices. Worth it in my opinion.

Good food...Not so great price for the place! Went there with family and friends. Food was not bad but the price was a bit off. We were charged for salsa and chips which should be complimentary for a place that charges an average of $18-22 per plate!. The decor and location were nothing to write home about! Surprised a bit with the inflated bill. Im from NYC and dont mind the bill as long as it meets the criteria! Ive never been charged for salsa and chips whether in Mexico or anywhere in the world!!!

I have been living in the city of North Miami for most of my life and somehow I seemed to have missed this magnificent restaurant. The customer service was great and THE FOOD OMG was the best Mexican food Ive ever had. Initially the plan was to go to "Lime" but they closed down in this area. But boy am I happy they did because it brought me to this place. Come to find out they have been here for 20 years and happy to have fallen upon such greatness because the food is truly amazing.

Great resteraunt. My family and I have been coming here for years. Most of the time I order the Carne Asada which is a churrasco steak. There is one with achiote sauce and one with something else. They are both good. If you love a good churrasco steak this is definetely the place to get it. They also have good fish tacos, ceviche, and tortilla and chicken lime soup.

As a Mexican, I believe they must pay for their great reviews. Poor quality food and overpriced. $12 guac was bland, not fresh, and must have been sitting in a fridge overnight. Steak tacos had no flavor. Totally disappointing experience - would never go again or recommend to anyone. Will stick to my fantastic neighborhood Mexican spot, Tequiztlan.

Food is okay, but over priced. The pricing on the online menus is actually about 40% than what you will be charged. Meaning if you take a look at menu prices online, what you expect to cost you about $30 will actually cost you about $50. Side note .... definitely the most expensive frozen guacamole in town at $12 for about 4 oz.

Use to be a good place , the last time we went it was the worst ! I ordered fajitas with stake , they bring it out 3 min after my order with 2 small peaces of meet and a lot of onions i ask the waiter and he stands there explaining to me that its "normal " Not going back ,to bad we were their loyal customers for good 7 years .

This place is a rip off. The taste of the food is good, horrible portions. The burrito I ordered had less meat than a small burger from McDonalds. I kept trying to get my $24 check telling the server I wanted to leave so I could go get lunch. Do not go there if you are hungry, management does not care at all.

Visiting Miami for 4 days ate here twice! I had a couple different meals which were with pork one was actually slow roasted piglet. The rice here is even amazing. The black beans are unpleasant to look at but taste great. And my wife thoroughly enjoyed the pollo tacos al carbon. Love this place

I will never eat here again. The food is extremely over priced and you dont get nearly enough food for your buck. They charge you extra for everything. Their margaritas are over priced. $5.00 for a can sprite. Total waste of money and it will never happen again. I was extremely disappointed!
