For the people that are rating this restaurant, just keep in mind that there is another restaurant by the same name in Beaufort in South Carolina. Dont make the mistake of confusing the two. This review involves the great experience we had at the Bluffton Road restaurant. Let me start out by saying, one of the reviewers mentioned watery guac. Not sure where you ate but we ordered the table side guac. Cant go wrong there. If you like guacamole like I do, this is a must. They come to your table and make it in front of you using all fresh ingredients. They make it to your taste. Melissa and Sara were our servers. Beautiful sisters who took care of us. I ordered the Hawaiian fajitas. When they arrived they look great. Tasted even better. Now on my second margarita. Oh, did I mention the margaritas. Great stuff. The fajitas were great. Everyone at the table commented on how good their food was, all six of us. I will definitely come back to this place. We come to HHI once a year and this definitely makes the re peat list. My daughters ordered churoze and ice cream. Out of this world home run.

Bad food. Alright service. I went here for the first time this evening, and was very surprised. I have heard pretty good things and decided to try it. We were seated and our drink orders were taken. We asked for just a minute to look over the menu, and were given a little more than that. It was almost vacant, and menus closed it took them a good while to head over to and take our order. I ordered the carnitas, which sounded appetizing. After ordering our service seemed to snap to attention, and from then on my glass was never empty. The good cane out rather rapidly, and looked alright. After trying it I soon realized that was an incorrect observation. The carnitas was dry and salty, and was hard to get down. I decided to try the salsa to clear my palate, and discovered it was nothing more than tomato sauce with onions and cilantro. I truly did not have a good experience, other than the water. Which was excellent.

El servicio y la comida es excelente , pero para nuestra mala fortuna decidimos ir a celebrar por mis vacaciones pues tienen buen sonido y buena música pero como cada viernes una de las dueñas se pone bien tomada y no deja que los clientes usen la rocola para el gusto de los clientes y solo ella la usa , por cierto , música horrible.

Great service, AMAZING food, the chips and salsa as well as the food were delivered promptly! The beers were huge and delicious! My only criticism was the margarita on the rocks (not flavored ) that I ordered. It lacked the sufficient amount of alcohol, I even had to order a shot to put in it, which I could still not taste. On the plus side they kindly took the shot off of The Bill. The drink was too sweet for my taste. Besides that one thing though, all else, was amazing and Id absolutely recommend this restaurant, especially if you want amazing good and great service!

I LOVE authentic mexican food and have found little mom & pop places that are amazing. We visited the area and after reading some of the reviews, I was anticipating trying this place. We ordered takeout. Boy was I surprised, the food was gross. Everyone in our party was nauseaus afterwards. I got lucky because I threw mine out. Nothing worth eating except the watery guac which had a good kick. Sorry for this review but you are better off eating somewhere else.

On our holidays in March of 2010 we found this restaurant by accident and it was one of the best finds of our time in the area! The staff were efficient, friendly and professional. The food was very good and the atmosphere was colourful and pleasant. We made a point of going back more than once! If we lived closer we would have this restaurant on our list of favourites! However we live in Canada and going more often is not possible.

La Hacienda use to be our favorite place to go in bluffton! Unfortunately we had the worst dinner ever. The Waiters picked up our cups with other peoples cups ,a girl moped the floor why we were eating , I had rotten tomatoes in my food and when I asked to talk to the mgr. They told me he was on break, they would have to call him....needs to say I will never eat at la Hacienda again!

No unlimited chips and salsa??? I have come here for years and always been provided unlimited chips and salsa! I will take my business elsewhere... like the Mexican restaurant down the street that provides far better service! Bye La Hacienda.

I cant understand a word that they say, but wow can these people make some good food! Its like as soon as I walk in the door, its a fiesta! I bring my wife and kids every time I come to Bluffton. Great food and good people!
