give this place 2 stars only because the pizza was OK......I am from Boston and my wife is from Philly so we know GOOD Pizza.......This was average BUT it cost $25.00 for a LG. pepperonni and a small cheese.....And they skimp on the toppings. When we called it in they said 20 minutes....IT TOOK THEM OVER 1 HOUR TO MAKE THESE 2 PIZZAS....I COULD HAVE MADE MY OWN!!! NO SORRY FOR THE WAIT NO APOLOGY JUST A HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. This was my first trip here because I heard it was good.....Thing is it really is nothing special...They are VERY LUCKY they do not have any competition.....just Hungry Howies and dominoes..... They say New York style Pizza but I think it is NY attitude!!! Maybe they saw the Seinfeld episode with the soup nazi and thought they would be the pizza Nazi!! LOL Basically it comes down to effort, customer relations and cleaning....NONE that they are good at. Too bad I will not go back again.....Maybe these people should take some pride in their place and their attitudes if not for anything but being a good buisness...... So dissapointed what a waste of time and money .....We all need to stop purchasing from people who dont care just so they know that they stink at what they are doing.... THANKS SAN REMOS FOR WASTING AN HOUR OF MY LIFE AND MAKING ME FEEL LIKE YOU COULD CARE LESS.....I HOPE YOU GET TREATED THE SAME WHEN YOU SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY SOMEWHERE...:(

Used to be great, but pizza is greasy, less ingredients especially cheese. My wife got spaghetti all watery and 2 meatballs. Bathrooms had urine all over the floor, and roaches on the wall. I dont know how they stay open. I called the next day and the owner said we give less meatballs because most customers are elderly which makes no sense. If u really want great pizza go to Massimos in Apollo beach or East coast on Big Bend. They are the best, and this place wont be here much longer, then again if they make no profit as the owner once told me, they may stick around until the health dept. shuts them down like they did before but forever. Somebody hacked into this e-mail. This is the best pizza around anywhere. I love this place from the 1st time we were there and will always go back.

Miserable location and Staff. Dim fluorescents, cheap tables. Completely Lethargic staff. Ordered a sausage and pepper sandwich, and a meat calzone and a soda. After waiting 50 minutes and still not getting our food or beverage, we left. Thank god they dont make you pay in advance. There were about 15 people in the restaurant, none were eating. What a waste of time on a nice afternoon. McDonalds further down the road provided better service. I don;t know about the food, as we were never served ours at San Remo Pizza. After reading the other reviews on this page that are positive---I would suggest they were written by the staff themselves.

When i walked into this Pizzeria my nostrils were annihilated by the scent of spongy slime. I think it is amazing how you have to pay half price for a refill to wash down the HARD burnt crust. Your so called "NY" pizza was like eating a brick topped with Greasy cheese. I have had LEGIT New York Pizza. The Crust of my pizza had to be cement because it had to take me 3 minutes to chew. Outrageous! Oh and they did not offer me lids for our drinks! DO NOT EAT HERE Repeat DO NOT EAT HERE Unless you enjoy slices of concrete cheese

Nice little hole in the wall pizza place. They have good quality pizza. Id have liked to try the daily special (Thursday was lasagna) next time Im in. The garlic knots were good too. I ordered a Medium half supreme with half cheese. It fed 2 kids and 2 adults with an extra two slices to spare! It was under $20. The place was busy there were 5-6 other customers ordering and picking up pizzas. I lived in NY and the pizza was spot on to authentic good NY pizza. I just wish they did wings but the garlic knots were awesome!

Service was excellent when two tired parents stumbled into this place after a long, hot morning with the Manatees. The proprietor took our order quickly and efficiently over the din of two toddlers. After a short wait he dropped off our pizza, and offered to cut two slices for the boys, either strips or squares. Then, we he brought them out, informed that he has chilled them in the fridge for a moment for the boys. The pizza was not memorable or excellent, but the service was top-notch!

Best New York-Style thin crust pizza. Reminds me of when I was a young boy and would go to the little pizza shop by my house and get a slice and a coke. I went with a bunch of friends recently and they had the Lasagna and the other the stuffed shells. They were very happy and stated the sauce made the meal. I eat there on a regular basis and have never had a bad meal. If you havent eaten there lately, you do not know what you are missing.

The pizza was above average, but it is an old looking restaurant with horrible staff. We waited 45 minutes for pizza, and they did not even bring out our drinks until we were there 40 minutes. Then as we were about to leave, a guy behind the counter started swearing in front of my 2 young kids. I will not go there again.

This is the closet thing to real NY pizza you will find here in Florida. Most excellant ( everyone knows NY PIZZA is the best!). Family owned and run. All fresh ingredients and even the tomato sauce is home made! The family is real Italian from NY and have that edge, but indeed the covers the ars great folk.

This pizza is so excellent all you need is the cheese! I have never been told to go and have intercourse with myself, but I have been there when someone was told to go is to go, not to stay. In this area the owner can be a bit of a Pizza Nazi, but the Pizza is worth it. He makes a mean pie!

I tried to place an order to eat in and was accused of being someone else. Turns out you cannot place an order to eat in but you can place a take out order. I was told that if I didnt like to go f**k myself. I have not experienced customer service like this ever in my life.

One of the best Pizza places I have ever been to. They have had that same location for like 20 years. When I moved to Apollo Beach in 86 they were not there but when they opened they have stayed busy even when Apollo Beach was very small. Absolutely love it.

Absolutely the WORST food I have ever had. I have had frozen food from the grocery store much better than the food at San Remo. I honestly dont know how they stay in business. Yuck!
