we went through the drive threw , there was a car in front of us at the window, as we waited all of a sudden seemingly out of nowhere was a large woman in my car window saying . thatll be 18.75. She scared the hell out of me. My sister was digging in her purse getting the money while the employee waited outside my car window and I saw that she had come out of the side door of the building. She was kind of pacing while waiting and finally my sister got out a $20 and I handed it to the employee, she took it , stepped back, and went "ugh" kind of loudly. I guess she had not liked waiting for us to get the money out , we did not like having someone jump out a side door at us demanding money, it was very strange and it frightened me when it happened. We did not the attitude either, so when we got to the window a different employee handed me the drinks , but my sister was saying she would not eat the food after the strange ordeal , and what we saw of the kitchen through the door was not pretty either. I said really I would just like the money back. She told me wait a minute, and she went and came back with the woman that had jumped out the door at us, she asked what she could do for us and I told her that I just wanted my money back. She asked if I would tell her why and I said "no". I thought if this was the one in charge it was a waist of time and breath to even try and explain it. I did not eat the food here, I would not eat the food here, and if I were the owner I would wonder why they are collecting money from the side door!

This is absolutely not only the worst Backyard Burgers Ive ever been to but also a horrible resturant in general thanks to the owner and general manager of this particular site. The manager dosent pack the blue cheese in the soop like other places and essentially you get like no blue cheese crumbles on a $7.00 burger and the manager cant get an order right to save her life!! 3 times I had to repeat myself at the speaker and on the third time she says "just trying to figure out what you want" and I said "Im just wondering how many times I have to repeat myself before you get my order right." When I get to the window she says "i just want to tell you that Im the owner and thats uncalled for"... I told her it was exactly called for because every time I come there its a hassle for one reason or another and this time I had to repeat myself 3 times... She told me to leave then threatened to call the cops.. seriously > the cops. And the kicker > I drove off and when I checked my food she still got it wrong because no bluecheese dressing on the side like I asked 3 times!!! This place fails because of a manager that tries to cheat you on product count to save a penny and the Owner needs a hearing aid and a better understanding of what law enforcement is for... This place is an absolute joke! Id give them no stars if it would let me... The manager is a pompous retrard that will throw you in jail if your not a satisfied customer... #$# joke.

My first time at Backyard Burger. I ordered the BBQ Burger, as it comes, in a large-sized meal with the seasoned fries. 4-stars mainly due to the price, but the amount of food was worth the cost. Let me begin by saying this is a lot similar to Checkers or Rallys, but it does not smell or taste the same. It smells like a basic barbecue burger place with variety. It was really enjoyable tasteful compared to the mundane and every day flavors from other fast food places. The seasoned fries though very much similar to the ones from Checkers/Rallys, came out hot and were not overloaded in the seasoning (just fine with my tastes)! The speed of service was expected due to the time we arrived there were a number of people ordering ahead of us. The large size meal was a little over the top in terms of the drink: it was more like a XL or XXL size drink (to put Burger Kings Large drink to shame). I am a slow eater and it is a hot day today (8/06/2017), so it was expected that towards the last few bites of my burger was lukewarm or cooler in temperature compared to the humid weather. All in all, temperature was great! I would like to visit again and try a different sandwich or one of their milkshakes!

Someone told me about this place almost 2 months ago. I kept meaning to visit earlier and finally got the chance to drive down there today. I had no clue it was a "checkers" style drive thru place..and an outside eating area. Anyway, since I heard such great stuff about the food, I decided to look past that. The facility from the outside looked clean and parking area was adequate. I parked and walked up to the window to place my order. Someone inside told me to go over to next window and when I went over, a loud big sassy woman with missing front teeth appeared...almost frightened the heck out of me. I ordered the Chipotle burger combo and paid almost $10 bucks. A bit too pricey. Got my food about 5 minutes later and sat down to eat. Everything was delicious just like in was told. Only thing I would change if this was my place, drop the price a tad bit and have more professional people at the window to take customer orders. The toothless and loud sass-like behavior is very unappealing.

Rude staff, incorrect order...... I never thought to rate it here, but its been about 2 months that I stopped here to try something new for dinner. I live only a block up the road and thought if this place was good we might put in in our rotation. I work and dont get home until sometimes after 7, depending on traffic, so many nights we run and pick something up so I can still get the kids in bed on time. The woman at the drive through never once spoke to me. She opened the window, took my card, immediately closed the window. Then reopened to return card and receipt and immediately shut the window again. No greeting, no appreciation and no goodbye. Seriously, people need to realize without your customers, you wouldnt have a job. You should be friendly and attentive, because as Ive said my household of 5 eat out more than Id like to admit and theyve lost all business from us. Dont waste your time here. Go to Five Guys instead, the food is far better than Back Yards is.

Food was good, lady who took our order, I think her name was Tenya, had the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. There was zero customer service. Like this lady hates her life look, attitude while asking what kind of fries and drink, no greeting. I know everyone has their own thing they are going through in life, but you work somewhere where customer service is pretty much expected and required.... luckily the girl who was at the pick up window was very friendly. Food was good, but probably wont go to this location again. Might want to have your employees, especially the ones who take peoples menu orders, be just even a little friendly rather than making it uncomfortable just to place your order.
