I enjoy Saxbys coffee and generally get it when I decide to get a latte. When I got it, i took a sip and it was extremely hot. I elected not to say anything since I had some time to kill and I thought it would cool off. After 10 minutes or so it was still hot so I decided to return it and go to my meeting. Well both the barista and cashier did not know how to do a refund to a credit card or cash. They contacted the manager and this person said no refunds. By this time I had to leave and go to my meeting so I did not want ice in my latte or another one. The options being offered... So much for customer service and trying to fix the situation!

Do not confuse this place with a coffee shop as there is no store front, places to sit, nor easily accessible. It is a location as party of a food court in the basement of the EPA which you must go through security to access. They do take most credit cards for orders over $5, but not american express.

This is where you go to start your day. Whether it is a caramel macchiato or a red eye or honestly anything the staff is friendly fast and attentive. Easily my go-to spot whenever Im in the Ronald Reagan Building.

I love this place! The coffee and atmosphere are unbeatable and the staffs level of service is above and beyond. Dont miss it if youre near McPherson Square.
