TERRIBLE SERVICE, WALK ONE BLOCK UP 7th TO A MUCH MUCH BETTER CAFE@443 7th ST! I dont mind waiting for a drink, or being addressed in a curt way...however, the barista I interacted with was beyond rude. When I saw her put my drink down to finish another drink (for the person behind me), I asked her if my drink was the finished americano I ordered. A simple "no" would have sufficed, but she decided to interrogate me: "Did ay call your drink?" "Do it look finished? No, it dont. When your drink is finished, Ill call it. Your drink aint on the counter, I put it heer. So, no, your drink aint finished." This is not an exaggeration. She mustve taken a good 2 extra minutes to give me this explanation--and with such attitude! I discreetly asked another barista to talk with the manager, not wanting to interact with this young, rude girl any longer. The manager came out, we talked and while talking, the barista came over. She started defending herself and when I corrected her re-account of what happened, she cut me off again to defend herself. When she left, the manager vaguely apologized for her, but that was it. I kind of see why cafe has such problems; the manager seemed pretty indifferent about her job. Honestly, the people at this cafe dont care. The attitude is: "My only work obligation is to be here. Take it or shove it." So Im taking my business to 443 7th Street and NEVER EVER going to 325 7th again! !!443 on 7th ST!!

There are 3 starbucks on 7th street NW - PLEASE DONT pick this one! Youve been warned... The staff is rude and rarely gets orders right. Ive seen this store packed and they do a fair job of getting the orders out, but they yell at customers and dont even expect any "service with a smile!" Today the store was not packed, hardly anyone in there, probably a sign of things to always be, and the barista was apparently takin a break. She pouted when she was given a drink order and audibly sighed, as if she was too tired to work. When I was given the wrong pastry, the one that handed it to me apologized and said "Dont worry" Ill get you the right one. And the nasty-attitude barrista yelled, GIVE THAT BACK! Excuse me? WHAT U GONNA DO WITH THAT, SHE GONE TO GET YOU THE RIGHT ONE? GIVE IT BACK! Im not exaggerating. I gave it to the other girl, who exchanged it for the right one and this psycho barrista says very very sweetly and surprisingly articulately, Would you like me to get the manager for you? Um NO. Im done. Really. For good. Two blocks up is another Starbucks and I can always use the exercise! Dueces & Bye, Bye Felicia!

I have tried this place twice. Every-time we have tried when we are visiting museums/The Mall area with guests. Staff is really mean and shows you attitude for any questions or anything you ask them. One time in winter I went there with big group of guests including my brother. He drinks their coffee everyday so wanted regular coffee and he said its not the same taste can u remake it...the girl (black young girl..bit on heavy side) roar and said WHATS wrong....thats what you get. My brother said well I am paying for it can I not ask for what I drink everyday...And that Missy was like "you are not paying me....grr!" we had 6 coffee(non-regular) and 3 hot chocolate order..money was totally wasted there That was just awfully insulting and she was sort of like that with rest of the customer (which included kids waiting to get their order). Staff here seems to not realize that they should be more attentive as they get so many tourist all the time....its part of DC experience !!! Try to avoid this place and give your money where they appreciate it!

I was so pissed by the time I left this Starbucks that I tossed my drink in the trash without tasting it. Rude, stupid staff. They got my order wrong, because they were too busy f--king around and not doing their job. Then, when I corrected it, the "barista" yelled at me about soy milk being 60 cents extra. I obviously f--king know that, considering I order the same drink every day. I went to give her 60 cents, she then was very rude and sad that it was actually 66 with tax. So I put three quarters on the counter and walked away. And again, this stupid a-hole yells about the fact that the lady had to ring it up. What makes me really pissed about all this is that Im actually from Detroit, MI. Whenever people here hear that, they always freak out because everyone from Detroit is "mean and nasty," well... I can tell you Ive never had such an awful Starbucks experience before this. I hope you enjoy the customer complaint I sent directly to Starbucks. I hope everyone here does the same.

Worst Starbucks Ive ever been too. The morning before going there I saw on the Today show some "secret drinks" at Starbucks. While tourning DC I wanted to true one of them. Before I went into the Starbucks I brought up the information on my phone incase the baristas were not familiar with it. I tried to order my drink -Hogwarts Butter Beer- and the cashier was not familiar with it. I showed her my phone and she glanced at barista for help. The barista looked at me and said what is this. I described the recipe and he rudely said, "we dont have those here". I said, "You have all the ingredients" and he just walked away. The cashier then said oh, I can make that. My order came up and it was nowhere near what I wanted. I didnt feel like arguing anymore and took the drink and left. How rude, no Starbucks Ive ever been as said, "We dont make those here" especially if I am showing you the recipe and and you have all the ingredients.

I actually have stopped going to Starbucks for my morning coffee because of how terrible the service is at this location. I was given a $10 gift card, and decided to go get a coffee, but it was NOT worth my time. I waited for 15 minutes for my drink, as did every other customer around me, and when I got my beverage (a tall, skinny mocha frappuccino), it was disgusting - it tasted like only syrup (way too sweet) and it was not anywhere near being a frozen drink - it barely had any ice in it and was way too liquidy. The store is also rarely clean (papers spread around the counter and stray sugar packets). It always shocks me how many people are working there - I counted 6 people, and three of them were engaged in a conversation (high-fiving and laughing) while people were waiting for their drinks. Horrible service.

This particular location is does not provide quality customer service. I ordered a sandwich and a bowl of oatmeal on the very cold snowy day. Received my food or what i thought was my food and walked a half of mile to work only to noticed that my sandwich wasnt in the bag. I then walked back to the store in the snow to get my sandwich. The same representative that forgot my sandwich the first time gave my sandwich to another customer. I did notice that the representative was deep in conversation with another employee and wasnt paying attention to what she was doing. Needless to say that I will not visit that particular establishment again. After all that, the food wasnt even tasty. I only gave it one (1) star because I had to. Other than that, it would have been BLANK.
