Cozy upstairs dining room that has windows overlooking Seaton Place. Nice music playing, service is attentive, while not overwhelming. Menu is self-explanatory, but the server didnt try to upsell an appetizer or salad. The crust was a little thick for my liking for Hand-tossed (I can get my own dough thinner). Sauce had just the right amount of sweetness. The cheese had the wonderful addition of milky buffalo which gave the mozzarella a little heft and a lot of chew. Toppings were fresh, and the onions were delightfully tender and mild. The sausage tasted of fennel and oregano, and I longed for more of it to nibble. Overall a nice pizza, a nice drink and a really pleasant place to dine.

I love this pizza. The owner is as pleasant as they come. Its pick-up only (I think), but since its in the neighborhood thats not much of a deterrent. I once asked the owner what the trick was to such good pizza. He said, "theres no trick, we just use top quality ingredients." Whatever it is, Im happy he knows it. When I dont feel like cooking, this is one of places that immediately come to mind. (The others are Boundary Stone and Red Toque.)

This is the only pizza place I have been too where the pizza is done within 15 minutes of ordering. Very friendly staff. The pizza itself is very good, not the best, but very good. Pie used to be a weak point in DC, but now it is easier to find a good neighborhood spot (if not several). There is not much more one can ask from a neighborhood take-out pizza place really.

I could love this place so much more if it wasnt so expensive. Dont get me wrong...this is not jumbo slice pizza, but $20 for a large is a bit much I think. I loved when it was BYO and havent been since the bar first opened up. If you are in the hood and craving pizza thats not from a place that runs commercials non-stop try it out.

Bacio is amazing. Try the Eckington and youll be thrilled. They do something special to their crust; its airy and chewy in all the right ways. And their cheese, sauce and toppings are fresh and delicious. My favorite restaurant in the neighborhood, and my favorite pizza in the city.

Authentic, quaint, fun. Enjoyed going here by invite from DC friends and Im glad we had the privilege Iof going there. I particularly liked the less greasy nature of the crust that appeared to be dusted with corn meal and then could be savored with the olive oil served there.

We are visiting and Bacio Pizzeria was recommended by our host. Our order was ready when we got there even when we thought we were 10 minutes early! The place is nicely decorated and had live music. Pizza is top notch!!!! We got the Eckington! Highly recommend!

Pizza is very good, though neighborhood competitors surpass Bacio in quality, tastiness, crust, sauce, and so on. A cute little neighborhood place with friendly service. Take-out or eat-in only (no delivery). Prepare to wait; it takes quite awhile.

Im from DC, and this is my favorite pizza place in the city (get the hand tossed over their thin crust). Love the feel of the place. The owner and staff are fantastic. Great pizza. Great Service. Go to Bacio and you wont be disappointed.

This is our go to pizza place to pick up a pie, even though there are closer pizza places. I love the quality of the crust and ingredients. The pies are not big so if you have 4 friends get 2 large pizza pies, unless one of you is on a diet.

Awesome Pizza! The hand tossed crust and sauce make the pizza outstanding! My favorite in DC. The only downside is that you really cant eat there...they only have a very small outdoor area. It is principally a carry out only pizzeria.

Delicious pizza and great beer selection. Owner came over and chatted with us, very family friendly. Service was very good and they gave us plenty of time to sit and relax. Fun music, mellow atmosphere, highly recommend!
