I went to Tailgates to celebrate my birthday with a few of my friends on a Friday night a few months ago, and I am never going back there. First of all, the security guard at the front door was too blunt and could have been more polite. When he said “5 dollar cover” I couldn’t believe it. TG said nothing about a cover for that night on its website! Of course we were going to pay it, after all, it was my birthday. My friend asked him if they had an ATM and he said “Yeah over there.” The ATM kept saying processing and then said the transaction didn’t go through. Instead of trying again, we went to a nearby gas station to get cash. We finally got in and it was so packed and hot. Every single time we tried to order a drink, the bartenders were either too hard to catch or not around. I even ordered a platter and it took 20 mins for my food to arrive! The DJ was horrible, the music he was playing was too dated or not “dancey” enough. Thank GOD for my friends and some cool guys who celebrated my bday with me. I ended up having a good time with them, laughing and dancing to the up to date songs they did play, but I wouldn’t want to go back. BTW, I’m only in my early 20s and I have to tell you that this scene is not for people my age. The majority of people in there were very mature in age! 30+. I swear, I even saw a guy who looked like he was 70 dancing on the floor!

Was recommended to go here by some co-workers while in town for business. Went to a Friday Happy Hour, and it brutally sucked. Waited 10 minutes after I sat down until some woman who was clearly either stupid, or just sucked at their job, came over to greet me. Received a somewhat cold coors light draft beer, with entirely too much head on it. Took about 35 minutes for her to get back to me, so I paid up and left. Id rather have had a couple drinks alone in my hotel.

Tailgates is a great place to go for fun with friends. The owner is a great guy the bartenders are great and super friendly Kimmie is the best they have good drinks and know at kinds of speciality drinks Darlene the waitress at the tables side is super friendly and right on top of things She makes sure you have what you need DJ Will is the best. He plays all kinds of dance music.

Go and see Kim or Gail!! Been going to this bar for many years, great place to watch NFL games. Great food, friendly people. Kimmie is the best bartender - friendly, professional, so hard-working and always with a smile! Got to love Gail too, she is constantly entertaining!
