I recommended French Quarter Bistro to friends last week who were looking for a late night snack and a beer. They stopped by on a Thursday night. The restaurant was closing but the very friendly hostess offered them the chance to sit in the bar and get food. They sat in the bar and tried for 40 minutes to get the bartenders attention but she was more interested in chatting with friends and people who she knew who walked in, than my friends. She finally came over and asked them if they wanted water. They said yes, and then waited again, after another 5 minutes of her chatting with her compatriots, they walked out. I posted a complaint on their Facebook page and it was removed within 2 minutes. I guess they dont care to respond to complaints and would rather sweep them under the rug. I dont think Ill be going back any time soon. What horrible service!

My girlfriend and I went last night, and had an excellent experience. The place quite frankly is a bit outdated and could be considered a "dive" bar, but we like those kinds of places, especially ones with good food! We started off with the Mac N Cheese Jumbalaya - let me just say this is a to-die-for mess of flavors that I would have to order the next time I set foot in this place. I ordered the Louisiana Chicken, and she got the Shrimp Scampi. My chicken was tender and moist and her Scampi very delicious. Everything had this great French Creole kick to it that is a nice change of pace. Service was excellent, our server knew all about the food and was very helpful. He got sat all at once and was still able to keep up for the most part. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for good, unique food.

I found this place with an ad on Groupon, since I love Cajun I thought I would give it a try. The 2.00 Miller lite was a drawl for my wife as well. The Miller lite turned out to be bud light and we later found out the 2.00 was not in the restraunt as advertised. The corn bread was an awesome start. I ordered the gumbo soup which was a little spicy and very good, not bad, the andouille sausage was fabulous. For the entree I had the seafood jambalaya. This also was very tasty. If the beer would have been correct and 2,00 as advertised I would be at 4.5 stars. The waitress said she knew but forgot to pass this info along. Outside of that she was pretty good. May give it another try to see if other advertised specials are accurate.

Ridiculous!! I went in with 3 friends one who is 20, sat at the bar and was denied service. I understand that one of us was under age, so they asked us to move to a table and server asked us what we wanted to drink. We tried ordering beer and first thing that he said was "by law they couldnt serve us alcohol because someone at our table was under age" after telling us to move to a table. This was complete CRAP! Ive never heard of such a thing. We are all 25 besides our friend. Most likey this bar got caught serving to underage kids and the LCB fined them. It was a complete waste of time and the server had terrible arm pit stains. Not gonna be going there for a while.

Saturday, November 19th ~ We.. myself, my girlfriend and my step-daughter; had dinner at the French Quarter Bistro.. This was our 2nd, but far from last time eating here! My girlfriend had a cup of French Onion soup..you cannot put your spoon down! The Cornbread.... No equal!! My step-daughter ordered the Crab Fries... OMG!!! Chickie & Petes cant hold a candle!!! I am going to stop here with the appetizers.. for now. As for dinner.. When have you ordered something that was so amazing.. Even the description on their menu doesnt do it justice?!?!

These other ratings are absolutely ridiculous. The staff is made up of teenagers who have know idea about the food, beer or cocktails. First, we ordered two different cocktails and they were literally the worst cocktails we ever had. They were basically syrup and one of the cocktails was the feature of the day. The food is ok, not horrible but not that good either. The bar had the TV show Friends on and it was blaring. Friends? Really? And our order was messed up repeatedly. Good beer list but thats about it.

I ordered Korean "Chicken" Tacos, which the menu stated were vegetarian and soy based. Im 99% positive they were real chicken. (or they were the best imitation chicken Ive ever had) They gave me stomach pains that night, so Im sure they werent vegetarian. They were also so spicy they made me sweat. I usually love the heat.. but these were a bit too much. Waitress seemed flustered. Menu was a bit pricey. However, the corn bread was delicious, as was the crawfish soup. The soup is worth going back for!

I have eaten here many times and the place is amazing. Try the Louisiana friend chicken. Its very special. The staff is great and very knowledgeable. The prices can not be beat. Last night My girlfriend and I had 3 drinks each, 2 appetizers and two of the more expensive dinners on the menu for under $80.00. And we had enough left over for an amazing breakfast. Do yourself a favor and get the cajun crawfish with creole mustard. We are considering having our wedding here. Its that amazing!!!!!

Cornbread was not fresh, the stew I ordered tasted bland and had this unpleasant fishy undertone. Our waitress was nice, but seemed flustered. I tried the dishes of the two other people I was with, thinking perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing, but they were also kind of gross, either too salty or too oily. I will not come back here to try it again due to the pricing, not worth the risk.

Service a tad on the slow side but I did come on a Wed at 7:45pm. OMG the Tuna & Tails, blackened Tuna & Crawfish tails is so flavorful, spicy, sweet, amazing. The sauce is so good I could take a damn bath in it!! I recommended it to my friends in the area as I am a traveling rep and just passing through. But Id certainly come back! Awesome. A taste of New Orleans in bumblef**k PA :)

The food here has always been very good when we have gone. It has a cajun theme so many of the options are spicy, but there are a couple non-spicy options that are delicious. The only reason we decide against going here is that they are very slow and we have a young child, so that is not always feasible for us. Otherwise I would highly recommend.

This is my third time here over the last year or so and the kitchen??? Or the service is SLOW. Granted Friday night at 630 p for 4 and we did not leave till 8 pm. Food did arrive till 740ish. Prior to these last visits food, service and atmosphere has been enjoyable. Unfortunately I will not be returning

Amazing food choices. Specials are always on point and they have a decent beer selection as well as a full bar. Servers have mostly been friendly and professional. Good for romantic meal or even a seat at the bar for a drink. Tends to get a little cold in the dining room during winter.
