This place is my favorite place to go to. The staff are absolutely wonderful and kind and they all know my face when I come in there (because Im basically there 24/7). Unlike other Japanese restaurants, this place is ran by an actual Japanese couple so its really more authentic than any other place around here thats just a basic blend of Japanese food. The sushi is wonderful and fresh (and cheaper than the competitors) and the hibachi or terraki meals are wonderful as well. The chicken or steak is not dry, the seafood (salmon or shrimp) is not burnt or bland either like other places. Also the hibachi dinners are more bang for your buck; you get the main meal you selected, rice (thats not dry either), noodles (which are delicious), miso soup (which is great) or salad with ginger dressing (which I could eat on its own). Besides the basic foods they have a wide array of Japanese appetizers and other traditional foods. And for dessert, you can get Mochi ice cream which is a Japanese dessert where you can choose from several yummy flavors, which is hard to find at any other Japanese restaurant in the state. Besides the food, the atmosphere is fabulous. The decor is absolutely beautiful, incorporating the traditional Japanese arts with modern photography of Japan. They also have a dark wood finish throughout the restaurant, which is popular in Japan and it sets the atmosphere for a upscale place at a good budget.

My husband and I decided to give sushi another shot after hating what weve tried in the past and we love it here. Granted, we only get California rolls (because I hate fish) but thats the kind weve hated from other places. Only once have I ordered sushi and it was disgusting (seems like it was maybe someone elses order and they never picked it up so it just got passed on to me.) Every other time its been delicious! When we went they didnt ask us what dressing we wanted on it, they just gave us their own dressing (forgot what its called) and it was super disgusting. (Probably a personal preference there.) Classical music gives me anxiety so I take my order to go but Im about to call in an order now! Definitely recommend.

I went in today to dine in but service sucked with no excuse ! I was one of two tables and at one point noticed 4 employees. Very simple I got sat after starring a couple minutes at the ceiling why they joked and carried on. Then after I got the menu, she never returned. I notice her doing what I assumed was side work , talking to her coworkers etc. No worries for me I found another eatery in the same plaza with pleasant service. Just dont go there if you have things to do or hungry because obviously youre on their schedule.

My boyfriend and I discovered this place by accident one afternoon and now make monthly trips here. The sweetheart roll and beautiful roll are our favorites! Their location is a little deceptive, tucked away in a strip mall. However, the interior is warm and nicely decorated. Even when they are busy, it is rarely noisy. This is a great date night spot!

I loved the food!!! My bf & I ordered the hibachi steak & chicken teriyaki & the steak nor chicken was dry & everything we ordered was fresh, hot,& flavorful..The staff was very friendly & there was absolutely no table wait & the atmosphere was very peaceful & relaxing

My wife and I ate here for lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. We had the teriyaki chicken and a sushi roll. Both were very good. The chicken was just a little dry but the sauce was light and very flavorful. We will be back here very soon.

Wow. This restaurant was fantastic! The servers were polite and quick, the sushi was astounding, the steak was cooked to perfection and dont get me started on the deep fried cheese cake, you must order it if you come!
