I had literally driven by this place hundreds of times, and hundreds of times said "Id like to eat there sometime". So...I have this issue with procrastination, anyway. Finally went to O Holey Yelp and was instantly taken aback but the sheer number of good reviews. I mean, I figured people would be talking, but was surprised at the out pouring of love. So, that sealed the deal...my fragile digestive system and I were going to try Turkish Food! The little ladies and I went early-ish on a Saturday night, around 5:30, so it was pretty wide open. Were greeted at the door (which is the one to the left, dont be a dork like me and try to walk into the door facing the parking lot, its an emergency exit) and seated in a nice comfortable booth. I have to say, one of the best things here is how awesome the staff is. Not just as far as attentiveness goes, but also in explaining menu items that, for a first timer, can be a challenge to comprehend. I was already set on the Cold Appetizer (thank you Yelp) and the Mixed Grill (thank you again Yelp). Ladies decided on a Chicken Kebab and Lamb Chops. Let just say...that cold appetizer comes straight from Gods kitchen. You could dip just about anything into any of those dips, and it would taste like rainbows. Its a must. Mixed grill was just about as perfect as I was hoping. Lots of flavors, meats cooked perfectly, great seasoning...and plenty of leftovers! Hidden gem for us was the lamb chops. They werent like the larger, Greek chops we were used to, they were like dainty, smurf sized chops. Delicate, delicious, and perfectly cooked. This place is a MUST if youre in the area and interested. Quick tip: If you order the Turkish coffee, do NOT stir up the stuff at the bottom with the little spoon they give you. If you do that, youll end up with all kinds of coffee turd in your teeth and your family and the staff will have a laugh at your expense. That didnt happen to me, Im just saying, dont do that.

I was psyched when I came across this place on grub hub. I love a cultural variety in food and having grown up in Europe, this was a huge treat; at least I thought it would be. I placed my order, got confirmation it was received and an estimated delivery time for about 45 min later. This was about 11am. 1245 comes around and I call for the 2nd time to find out the status, come to find out, our order was completely forgotten. They stated they could have our order delivered with in 30 min, I agreed. Driver arrives, well dressed, well mannered, and apologizes for HUGE delay, though blaming grub hub and grub hub blaming sultans. I bring the food up stairs, un-pack, start eating etc... For the most part the food was pretty good. Ordered the Doner (gyro) which was different then I was accustomed to, but tasteful and great serving size. As I am looking for dessert, I notices a portion of my order missing. I call the restaurant directly, and all they can tell me is, "I put it in there myself" .... At this point, I was fed up. tipped well for nothing... I just hung up out of utter disappointment. 2 stars because the food was good, but over all experience... SAD.

Excellent food with a great atmosphere. When getting take out, everything is ready to go and individually wrapped for easy transport. The meats are perfectly seasoned (especially the Doner kebab), and the Bulgur rice and their bread are both fantastic. Sekerpare (almond pastry) is a great dessert. We eat here at least once a month... definitely worth a try, even the picky eaters will find something on their menu to enjoy!

Traveling to and from New York and Boston I pass Sultans in Waterbury. You can see it from i-84. This is a place worth stopping for. You can make a meal of just the Lentil soup and bread. So good. But then youd miss out on the entrees and dessert. Highly recommended. Pictured are the Lentil soup, Sheppard salad, Beyti (lamb rolls in tomato sauce and yogurt) and Sutlac baked rice pudding.

Dined here with hubby for a special evening. Had to make reservation couple weeks in advance so definitely plan ahead. This is just a really special place and everything was amazing---food, service, ambiance. While serving incredible food and delivering a high end dining experience, at the same time this place feels down to earth and (dare I say) casual--not easy...

When visiting Diorios Restaurant in this historic building, try to eat in the bar area. Cozy, dark wood booths provide a place for intimate conversation. If you like grapefruit, their grapefruit martini is amazing. Nice wine selection as well. The food is consistently superb, and this is our go to special occasion spot. We keep trying to create more reasons...

I went to this restaurant last Friday. I hate this restaurant because of two reasons. The first one is that the waiter was very rude. He had no respect with us. The second reason is that their desserts ( Kunava) were not good. We couldnt eat it. I returned it back to them and I did not take my money back . I did not feel happy in that trip.

This was my first Turkish Meal and it was amazing from start to finish! First I must comment on the waiter "he made us feel like we were eating in his home" . His recommendations, from the appetizer a delicious combination of their specialities served with warm seasoned bread , the red turkish wine & the kabobs finishing with baklava leave...

Chicken was a little tough. Sent back the rice since it tasted like there was sugar in it (yuck). They gave me steak fries to replace it which were lukewarm and tasted like they were leftovers. But the worst part of dinner was that throughout our meal, an obnoxious Giants fan in the bar made an enormous amount of noise...

We went to Signatures with our daughter and her boyfriend to celebrate my birthday. It was a Tuesday night when they have a fixed price menu in addition to their regular menu. The fixed price menu included appetizer, salad, entrée and desert. We had the steak, scallops, and lamb and everyone was pleased.

Stopped here off the highway looking for a quick dinner driving towards NY. We ended up having a really nice sit down meal that didnt take a long time. The staff was very helpful in making recommendations on the menu for us and we both really enjoyed our food. Would definitely stop in again.

The atmosphere is comfortable and semi formal, with cloth napkins and water glasses at the tables. The table bread was warm and delicious. Shepherd salad was excellent, as were the kebabs. If this place was in my town I would probably eat here once a week at least!

Make sure that you pay with cash. If you pay with a card they will add extra tip without your authorization. They are a bunch of thieves, so please watch your purse and your bank statements. They stole money from me and will surely steal money from you as well.

Absolutely amazing place! Must go there! Weve been there many, many times. Delicious food, very friendly staff and, of course, the lovely belly dancer is amazing on Saturday nights! Great for a casual dinner or a party. You wont regret it!
