It was a Saturday night and crowded. Our party of 6 arrived at 6:15 to eat before an 8 pm concert 2 doors down the road. First, the waitress brought everyones drinks except my husbands beer. When questioned, she didnt seem to realize it was missing, and said the bartender was overwhelmed. But she didnt follow up, and we had to ask again. Probably 1/2 hour later, she finally brought it, and had to substitute a different beer than the one he ordered. I ordered the Grilled Vegetable Platter, which was listed under Pastas. It was described as an array of grilled vegetables with tofu. I assumed it would come over or with pasta. The service was extremely slow and we watched the wait staff enter and exit the kitchen, many times, but empty handed. Finally, with little time left before the show, the food arrived. But mine was simply 2 stacks of grilled vegetables (the waiter called it a Vegetable Stack, which he explained was the old name for this dish) without tofu or pasta. When I asked, I was told they ran out of tofu. No one apologized or offered me an alternative protein source. Nor had anyone let me know they were out of tofu, so that I could have changed my order. Perhaps the restaurant assumes that only vegetarians would order this dish, AND that vegetarians eat only vegetables. Which is ridiculous. The vegetables were tasty, but not satisfying by themselves. Id have had another slice of bread if the waitstaff hadnt whisked that away when serving the entrees. I understand it was crowded, but this restaurant should be used to that, given its proximity to the Infinity Music Hall. At least they did the right thing and didnt charge for my dinner. I wont be going back however.

They have paper over the tablecloth and a jar of crayons on the table. Theres a reason for that. You will need to entertain yourself while you wait for your food. It was around an hour in my case. To make matters worse, we had scheduled our reservation for 6:15 so that we could make it to the 8:00 show at Infinity Hall around the corner. 1:45 should be plenty of time, right? Apparently not. They served our entrees at around 7:40. In my case it was an entree and a salad, which made it that much more difficult. And the food was really tasty. I mean delicious. Try the duck. I would love to have enjoyed that meal without having to pound it down. Incidentally, I cant tell you if the desserts are as delicious as the rest of my choices. There was no time to find out. There is somebody in that kitchen that really knows how to cook. There is nobody in that restaurant that knows how to run a restaurant. If you like to color, and have loads of time on your hands, give this place a try. If you are looking for a good meal before the show at Infinity Hall, better find another place.

Coming in with friends, showing them the blackboard specials, I commented that they should check them out as the last two times I was there they neglected to mention them. Woman whom Im guessing was the manager shot back they always do...well thats rude and I intrusive since I wasnt speaking to her and a complete lie. Food was ok, mussel dish came smaller than it ever did, many missing meat, wings over cooked, coleslaw bland, one in our party asked for the strawberry salad special with no cheese as they cannot have it but with avocado....but received a ton of cheese no avocado! Bison burger made two of us sick...used to enjoy stopping here but now not so sure.....and given everything we all tipped quite well despite the crap service and food. Someone commented that the dishwasher must have been cooking lol

Great food, great prices. Hands down best wing that me and my family have had in Connecticut (maybe anywhere). The burger was delicious, great premades (cowboy burger especially good). Fries great and crispy. The french onion soup is outstanding as well. Overall, you really cant go wrong at all. And did I mention the roast beef sandwich? Wonderful

Dec. 28, 2011 Liked: French onion soup, Black Bean burger with guacamole and salsa, Wood Creek Burger wtih fries. Good service, atmosphere, and reasonable price for excellent food. Teenagers will like it too. Good place to eat after a walk up Haystack Mountain

Excellent Reuben. The marbled rye was the best part. Nice stack of quality corned beef. The service was very good and the entire staff were into their gig. Cool bar ambiance and a nice local crowd. Great beer selection also.

Just ok. Appetizers were great, steak was cooked past requested doneness and drowned in sauce. Server didnt appear to notice that he spilled food in my wifes lap. Would try other restaurant options before returning to this one.

Great atmosphere. Just had the Cajun wings and they were delish! Asian chicken sandwich was very tasty. Service was top notch at the bar. 8.19.17 Back again and the experience is just as great. Service and food are awesome!

Prices are a bit high for quality of food, but since its one of the only places in town now, its not bad. Burgers are solid, same with wings and nachos. Other apps left to be desired. Good cocktails and drinks.

Solid local bar/restaurant. Good food, a nice crowd at night. Restaurant closes at 9, bar side closes at 10.
