Im getting to the point. We sat at the bar...the bartender was Christine. She was never at the bar. We had to ask if we can order. She never asked me if I needed another coffee...I wouldve loved one. However, she was never there. My daughter was having a cocktail...she too wouldve like another...again. She never asked. We had to flag down another employee to get our bill...just sat and sat and sat with empty drinks...maybe this isnt the job for Christine. Needless to say...we left and went somewhere else.

What nice place go to manager Gretchen and asst. Manager Casandra,Sara,Jackie are very pleasant, always caring awesome customers relationship skills,always asking how meal is if want something more to drink or eat,asking how food is,if any problems they will fix it,right away.They all move their customers in fast if there is a wait to get in. Very happy with everything with this 99 restaurant in Torrington, Ct.

Excelent service, and great food as is almost always from 99. Salad plate was chilled, salad components were crisp, and fresh. My fried shrimp were cooked well, and crispy. We sat at the bar. The service person was very freindly, and professional. All of our food was prepared in a timely manner (even though they were quite busy)!. Great experience all around.

Called when my husband was almost home from picking up takeout order to say they forgot to put the dessert in the bag. This was after they read it off to him when telling him what WAS in the bag. Got home to discover the au jus for the French Dip sandwich was not in the bag either. When I called was told "sorry we are busy". WTF? bye bye 99

This place gets worse every year. Just ordered a sirloin steak. Full of fat and gristle. One of the worst steaks Ive had. Gave it to the dog. So much for take out! Oh and the idiots never put foil in the foam container so the hot steak melted the foam and the juice went everywhere.

We love Maggie. She is amazing, friendly and always making us laugh. She stays on top of her tables even when busy. She always has a smile on her face and making sure her tables are happy. We come here just for her. Also those fish taco on the 9.99 menu are amazing !!!!!!!

Friendly staff, quick service. Food needs Mort variety and the new open design kills the bar aura. The bar also feels like a part of the dining area now. Loved to watch games there sitting in the bar. Not so much now. Still love going there for a quick meal.

Above average for a chain. Sirloin tips are juicy although on occasion I have gotten some tough tips. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the mango iced tea

It was definitely not Applebees. Order the sirloin tips and ribs I ordered the sirloin tips medium well they came out raw and blood on my plate
