We went there because we had a gift card. We dined in and had the calamari appetizer followed by a pizza.Pros: Excellent service: fast, attentive, and friendly. Outstanding beer menu. The calamari was nicely cooked and included the tentacle pieces, not just the rings. The pizza had a very nice crispy crust and was cooked perfectly. Cons: Small appetizer portion, given the price. Regarding the pizza, the sauce was extremely bland - it tasted like crushed tomatoes right out of the can. Also, we ordered meatball as a topping for our pizza, but instead of meatballs, our pizza came topped with unseasoned hamburger meet. Additionally, the bathrooms needed attention, as the ladies room was kind of dirty and the mens room had no soap. Overall impression: It was good. Just good. We have a balance remaining on our gift card so we will be back. However, we will not order the pizza next time. Perhaps their burgers (which looked great, from what we saw going out to other diners) or entrees will be better for us than the pizza was.

Cool place. Always rotating / large beer menu. Craft beer lovers paradise. They brew some of their own beer as well (all on tap) Although, I always come back because of consistent quality of food and friendly staff. Everything on menu Ive had has been good/great except for their gyro. Did not care for that. Much better options in the area for gyros (Nikos in Danbury) In my opinion - this Middlebury location is much nicer than (Oxford?) location. Unique, rustic vibe in bar area. Will always be one of my go to spots in the Valley

This place is a real relaxing place to have a great meal. They have the best pizza in the area with a great pub style atmosphere. The cheese pizza is outstanding as are the toppings many made fresh in their kitchen daily. The service is exceptional & the Greek, Italian or American meals are also very good and reasonably priced. Also don’t forget to start your meal with their fresh baked rolls hot from the oven it’s all fresh & good……Enjoy

Good food and lots of beer choices. I would assume there are good views from the deck but we are inside. The only reason this place louses a star is because it is not family-friendly you could bring a kid but they probably wont have a good time, I dont mind that at all but you should know going in. If you bring the kids you should have something to entertain them.

Been to the Oxford location, had large 2 topping pizza , 2 beers, and a soda with tip was almost 40 bucks. Came here to Middlebury after fishing on Quassy, soda machine is broke, service was great, food slow to come out for us being only people here, and could have been better for the price. Beer was good, lol.

When we eat in at the restaurant the food is usually excellent and the service is very good. When we pick up their take out, the Pizza is frequently mediocre at best. The pie is either lacking enough cheese, sauce or toppings. Not sure what happens.

What a great place!!! Love the pizza and wings. Best bar in Middlebury. Every time we visit Pies & Pints, the beer selection is something that you cant find in this area. Thank you Pies & Pints...see u soon :-)

I moved to Middlebury two days ago. I found this place by accident just driving around. The Irish pizza was so good, I brought my father back the next day to split a large. Ill be back soon!
