Prime One Eleven is hidden on Route 111 in Trumbull, but it is a treasure worth hunting. We arrived for our reservation on time and were kindly greeted and escorted to our table, which clearly had been set apart solely for our reservation. The dining area, featuring a trendy, industrial meets southwestern atmosphere, was packed with friends, couples, and families. The aesthetically simple yet contemporary decor and architecture made us feel like we were in a popular big city restaurant within the small town of Trumbull. Our waitress promptly greeted us, provided us with our drinks, and took our order. We began with the Garlic Bread Tower appetizer, which was perfectly toasted garlic bread piled high on top of a creamy Gorgonzola fondue. The appetizer was only a foretaste of the deliciousness to come. I enjoyed the Californian Artisan Pizza for my main course, which is blackened chicken, avocado, slab bacon, red bell peppers, and bleu cheese on an artisan pizza crust. My fiance gave high reviews to The Steak Sandwich, which consists of aged sliced sirloin, horseradish cream sauce, roasted red peppers, and grafton cheddar all on fresh baked garlic toast. All of these dishes surpassed our expectations and the portion sizes are appropriate for the price (if not surprisingly larger). While the food was spectacular, I knock off a star for the amount of time we waited to tell our waitress our dessert order. Though we ended up passing on dessert (simply because we had eaten too much already) and had requested an additional two minutes to look over the dessert menu, we ended up waiting for a little more than 15 minutes, causing us to almost be late for our evening movie. The service was otherwise attentive and I gave the server the benefit of the doubt, as the dining room was very busy. Overall, fantastic food and awesome ambiance. Prime 111 may become a new regular on our date night rotation. Well done.

Enjoyed the place for Valentines Day. Dont usually go out on that day due to the crowd, but the restaurant had reservation open so my husband decided to utilize our gift card we had. Nice atmosphere. The service was just so-so. When I go to a restaurant where the prices are relatively higher than other places in the area I expect excellent service. First off the waiter never told us his name. Secondly after we were seated we had to wait for quite awhile, and there were not that many people there yet as it was early. I enjoyed the onion soup very much though. Really good. Honestly, the waiter seemed annoyed and distant, did not try to strike up a conversation or joke or anything. We ordered the porterhouse for two. It was a good meal, except the hassellback potato was not thoroughly cooked and hard. The grilled asparagus was though. The steak was very large and we took half home. The next day we had it sliced and on a hot griddle and it was even better. The Caesar salad was also good. We had 2 glasses of wine each. Our bill was $195. plus tip. We had a $50 gift card so total was $145.plus tip. We gave the waiter a 20% tip cuz really it probably sucks to work on Valentines. There were several tables with children. I will go again. It does deserve a second chance. Dessert was excellent.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. On one hand, the restaurant is beautiful and the variety of food is great, but we had some dishes that were rather "meh!". One of us got a 28 day cured steak ($50) that he said: "I had better..." (and he is a chef). The Fried Calamari was succulent and the chili my wife ordered was very good. A little on the pricy side for a big family (it is a steakhouse after all). Beers where a little warm for my taste.

Food: excellent..... Serving size: more than adequate( very shareable).... You could just order appetizers and leave full!! Priced a bit more than " regular " family places but then youre dealing with " prime" cuts of meat ..one pound baked potatoes.. Wild mushroom demi-glace.........so yeah... But their slab bacon appetizer is fantastic...you will need every bit of space on those gigantic wooden tables

my family and I had a late lunch today at Prime 111....everything from the appetizers (calamari, bruschetta, loaded homemade potato chips) were all delicious. Main course (hamburgers, lobster roll, egg plant parm, pizza, ) again all terrific. Service impeccable. Wonderful space., great bar, not too noisy. An excellent experience...my new "favorite" restaurant

We live right around the corner. This place has pretty good food considering what is in the area. It also has a decent night life scene on Friday and Saturday. Always open late, kitchen is open late and service is good. Worth checking out. Good for corporate lunches as well.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Parking is an issue. Not the restaurants fault but still an issue. The food and service is the reason to come here despite the parking issue. Love this place. Maybe just call Uber to get here.

My husband and I recently went to celebrate the closing of our home. The service was impeccable. We shared the crab cake, Arugula salad and Delmonico. My only company is that the steak had a lot of excess fat. Everything else was perfect.

This place always seems to be busy. Prime location near Rt25 & Rt111 intersection. My wife loves the Cucumber Martinis there. I ordered Pigs on a Wire and neighboring patrons took pictures. Very lively atmosphere.

Over-rated. Very loud. The food is okay; not a good value. The tuna tacos - 3 for $16 - packed with a pencil-size portion of seared ahi. Waiter was frazzled, blamed kitchen staff for bringing out the wrong orders.

Youve had soup like this before, chops like this before and oysters just like this before. Still, these are a little bit better than those.
