Okay I honestly dont understand how anyone could have possibly enjoyed this place. Ive been living in Stamford for years and know all the places and love them, except HERE. Seriously, save your money and go elsewhere where youll get good food quality and portions. Ive never in my life been to a more disorganized and chaotic place. The people working were all frazzled and confused when I ordered a Pizza Fritta (Fried Dough). They took horrendously long and then when it was prepared, on the fried dough was a small teaspoon of tomato sauce at the center (had to wait another 15 minutes for them to heat up more tomato sauce for me). My friend ordered the salad and it was pathetic looking, very little lettuce (filled like 1/4 of the BOWL) and were cheap on whatever toppings she asked for. There was more air than salad in the bowl. I normally dont even write reviews but the prices are not worth the portion or even the general quality. Literally dont waste your time coming here.

Some of the best pasta Ive ever had, and Ive worked at many Italian restaurants. If youre looking for pasta cooked al dente, come here! High quality ingredients, made fresh to order. Earnest, kind staff, comfortable location with lots of parking in a slow-paced neighborhood. Pretty interior. Great salads with interesting selections and diverse options to choose from. Good place to land after a long bike ride or run (just be sure to get something light!). Ask for pasta LUNCH SIZES if youre there before dinner-- this place has them.

Literal trash. My ice cream went from the cashiers hand, to my mouth, and then straight to the garbage. I do not understand how any human, living or otherwise, could possibly think that the "gelato" served here is palatable. This is culinary malfeasance at best, unconscionable disaster at worst. I have never felt more disgusting after eating ice cream.

Grew up in Stamford and went to Misto on Oct 14th. Had the pizza frita and it was awesome! As far as I know there is only one other place in Stamford to get a pizza frita and that is Michaels over in the Cove. However, since I live right near Misto, I will be hitting it up on a regular basis.

The food is fantastic! Modern European one stop shopping. Pizza, burgers, salad, pasta and more made right before your eyes. Dont forget to check out the gelato, its great. Modest prices for generous portions and great quality.
