Overpriced for the underwhelming quality, seeming to rely more on trendiness than basic execution. Add to this a horrible customer experience and I absolutely hated the place. Three in our party of six ordered the filet mid-rare. One came out rare, one was correctly done mid-rare, and one came out medium. The medium was re-fired and came out an extreme example of pittsburgh rare, with a charred outside wrapping an ice cold center. Not cool, but just-came-from-the-ice-chest cold. Yes, we all know you are in a hurry to fix a mistake, but that is just plain sloppy. For the third re-fire, they threw filet #2 back on the grill. This might work in most situations where a steak is underdone, but not when the outside is already charred. When they dropped it back on the table, the inside was now mid-rare, but the outside was a nice layer of charcoal. Beyond lazy to the point of insulting. When you charge $40 for a 16oz filet, you damn well better know how to cook one consistently. Our party was there for a birthday and two people ordered dessert. The birthday girl was not one of them. When the desserts came out, they simply took a dessert which WAS NOT HERS and stuck a candle in it, dropped it in front of her and walked away. After singing happy birthday we realized her dessert actually belonged to someone else at the table. Really? There are no words for how pathetic this was. No one was necessarily expecting a free desert for the birthday girl, but giving her another persons desert? Just wow. The wait staff was well aware this happened, but no apology was given. Had we been an obnoxious table, perhaps we would have deserved this treatment. Had we been jerks about the incorrectly cooked steak I could see the staff just writing us off. But no, we were polite, opting to avoid a fuss due to being there for a birthday celebration. We didnt demand to see the manager and we didnt berate the wait staff. Perhaps we should have, because no attempt was made to rectify the mistakes. Had the food been heavenly, we would perhaps give this place another try. Unfortunately, the dishes were simply decent with nothing rising to the level one would expect for the price point. The place seems to want to ride on trend alone, without anything substantive to carry it forward. Perhaps an acceptable place to go for a few drinks and some overpriced apps, but there are many better options for quality food at reasonable prices.

Wed night at 7 the place had maybe two dozen people of at least 170 capacity. My wife and I asked for a booth. We were told they are reserved and they had tags on them. At 8 we complained all the booths were never sat. The waiter agreed we should have been sat in a booth. The manager came in late and also agreed then the tags were removed. The food was good the service was very good (but waiter left before 9 without telling us he was leaving) but thats all irrelevant because we were lied to and wont return. I ordered Hennessey Paradis for $90 and they gave a one ounce pour. I looked at it and said what happened? The manager said they pay $1,000 (another lie) for the bottle but maybe its $600 wholesale which is about a cost of $26. I looked at him like he is a used car salesman and he gave me another ounce like he was doing me a favor. So thats $52 into $90 after the other $180 I spent. But they tried to turn $26 into $90 which is greedy.

We were headed into a long-ago favorite, Donovans, the other night when we saw this new place right across from the parking lot. Impressive from the get-go. Big open windows make the intersection the decor. Seated quickly even without reservation, the wait staff worked as a team to make sure we were happy. We sat at a high table and I dropped my napkin twice, they got me a new one twice. The French Onion Soup is different - in a good way. Quality ingredients. My partners Chowder was really great... bits of real bacon, good sized chunks of fresh clams. My tuna sashimi small plate was perfect with a subtle dusting of crunchy good stuff and was that a hint of truffle oil? Yeah, the pour on the wine was a bit stingy, but they more than made up for it with old-world (largely Latin) attention. Ive starred it on googlemaps and will return for more! Good place to bring a client.

Overpriced and poor service. I bring clients here from time to time because they seem to like it and its walking distance from my place. I was out for a walk tonight and decided to pop in for a bourbon. There were four other people at the bar. The bartender walked by me and told me hed be right with me. I laid a twenty on the bar and waited while he chatted and chatted with two other guys at the bar. Waited a little longer and finally got up and walked up. Went over to Harlan Social. The bartender there walked right up to me, smiled and asked what I wanted. Less than a minute later I was sipping on the Blantons I wanted to order over at Washington Prime. I will give them an extra star because they serve Blantons and because they serve it over a large single cube on request. Shape up guys. Theres a lot of competition in SoNo.

Loved this place. Nearly every dish we had was great. The calamari is a good dish; the sauce is what makes it. But I do like the calamari from Bar Sugo on Wall Street in Norwalk better. The clam chowder is great here, one of the first Ive had that wasnt too salty without compromising taste. The ribs fell off the bone easily and the sauce wasnt overpowering. The steak tartare was awesome, definitely recommend trying it if youre feeling adventurous. The quail egg was definitely interesting. My least favorite thing was the creamed spinach risotto. The spinach fit in well and tasted good but the risotto was just lacking a bit in taste.

Decent place to go for drinks. Food is good too but a little on the pricier side. Mostly seafood. Nicer in the summer because of their outdoor patio thats right on the sidewalk with couches and a fireplace. Also, they dont accept Discover, which is just strange for place like this.

Good (not impressive) burger and meat, nice ambiance and speedy service. I dont give 5 stars because we were give a table near the waiters service area where they came and go and was a total annoyance. I would suggest the owner to remove that table or to rearrange it.

This place is on the expensive side, but its a nice place for more formal dinners. It can be romantic if thats what youre looking for. The food is good and so is the drinks. They have some outside seating too.

Took forever to be seated even with a reservation. After approaching the host twice, they offered to buy us a couple of rounds and appetizers when we sat. Very busy on weekends. Dress to impress
