This is a great Italian food spot. We had headed about it for a few years but never got to visit until this weekend. Parking was not the best due to a soccer game going on in the adjacent lot, our friends had to park down he street and walk. This is the sole reason for the loss of a star. Once inside however the visit was perfect. It is deceptively large in the building, with a great looking bar area. We were seated in a large room with several tables and booths. Their was plenty of space between tables to accommodate the number of people in the area. The food was delicious. I am not even going to try to come up with other additives. Each meal and drink was perfectly done. This place knows what it is doing when ti comes to seafood and Italian sauces. Service was good. Nothing special but considering the number of people in the building it was impressive they did not fall behind.

Excellent food. High quality, modern restaurant style/setting. Feels like a top-end restaurant in Vegas. Just be careful about eating late on Fri/Sat. We took a 930 seating. During dinner they slowly converted the restaurant to a dance club. First they turned on club music in the dining room, and then they started turning up the volume. They did turn off the dinning room speakers, when we asked (thank you), but the club music still poured in from the bar/club area. So be aware. Otherwise a great place.

A "will go back again" for us. This has become our go-to place lately when we want a quick low key excellent meal with out of town visitors or family and dont feel like driving into New Haven and hasseling the parking situation. Now we often say why bother? Ludals rivals and exeeds most of the eateries in New Haven. Love the menu and the amazing specials. Fresh, carefully prepared, balanced, great portions, well priced. What more do you want! Thank you Ludals.

I have gone to Ludals about 6 times now and they are consistently great. The food is both contemporary and comforting (and yummy, for the technical people). The lunch price and portion is just right (actually I had to get a doggy bag and I eat a lot!) The staff is friendly and knowledgable. New Haven has some great restaurants, but this restaurant easily rivals many of them and is worth the 10 min drive up I-91 with lots of parking.

We had our son & daughter-in-laws rehearsal dinner on a Thursday evening. The food was fantastic, service was amazing & Gina, the manager, was terrific to work with. Would highly recommend Ludals for any type of special event. It was a lovely evening surrounded by family & friends. Thanks to the awesome staff for everything!! You gave us a perfect pre-wedding celebration!!!

My wife and I love this place. The food is tremendous and they make great drinks. Atmosphere is consistent with other modern American Italian restaurants I would say. They have a nice bar area as well to grab a drink if waiting for your table or just getting together with friends. I would recommend reservations as we went on a Wed and it was packed.

A good upscale Italian restaurant. Very nice, modern decor. Extensive menu that is all very good, but not "wow". Excellent choice for business lunches/dinners and large groups or dinner parties. After hours on Friday and Saturday, there is a DJ and the dance floor gets decently busy with a diverse range of ages.

Love this place, go here all the time with family for birthdays and any other celebrations. Can be a bit loud however, if the place is packed can be hard to hear the person next to you. Other than that, great food and fancy atmosphere
