Visited for lunch with my family 2 weeks ago. First of all the waiter was pushy with wanting us to order right away. We had a party of 8 so we didnt want to order until everyone was ready. Then when it was time for him to bring us our food the whole process took ridiculously long. Like I said we had 8 people so he had to bring put 8 different orders instead of getting another waiter to assist, he did it all by himself. bad for us because we would have a side dish delivered, then sit and stare at it get cold for like 5-10 minutes while the main dish was delivered. He forgot about a few of the side dishes. My husband is vegan so he had a special request and it was ignored. the food had to go back. half the table was eating while the other half of the table was still waiting on their orders. It was not a smooth experience at all. The food was cold. A side plate that was supposed to be clean had unknown meat on it. I didnt order meat. Our tab was well over 100 dollars and we still tipped well but in all honestly we shouldnt have. Ill go to Plaza Azteca next time!

First time here 4:30 on a Sunday, party of 2, sat immediately after walking in the door, no less than 1 minute later two glasses of water with chips and salsa on the table. Excellent service from start to finish, filled my drink 3 times without me having to ask once. Super Nachos were delicious and filling for starters. We ordered two chicken fajita dinners. THEY WERE OUTSTANDING. Been to many, many, Mexican spots and this is arguably one of the best Ive had. Portion size was bigger than any other spot I had been to. To top off our perfect meal, after telling our server it was our first time, he brought us over some churros with caramel, strawberries, and whip cream for dessert on the house. Very impressive! Overall, an outstanding first experience , we will be back and bring friends.

I had a horrible experience there on November 8 ( my birthday ) my son and daughter took me there, what a mistake! Since we came in the waiter took us to a table and left us waiting for more than 2o minutes, my son had to go get the waiter ...a diferent waiter took our order in such a rush rude way.. they took a long time to bring the food and when they finally did, they brought the wrong food, when we told him it was not what we order he slam the plates in the table making my son very upset, my son ask for the manager, only to find out the manager was worse than the waiter...we left the place very disappointed and upset and will never go back there again,,rude and unprofessional. They think they still in Mexico. All male Mexican waiters with no manners. Disgusting

OK so Im not one to write a review but this place was so good I had to. Im used to the great Mexican restaurants in Nashville Tennessee and up until this point have been disappointed with Connecticut Mexican restaurants. However this one was quaint with good service in a friendly warm atmosphere and excellent food could not give it five stars because that is reserved for my favorite Mexican restaurant in the world La Casa Fiesta in Nashville TN

This is our favorite local restaurant. The staff is friendly, the food is authentic, delicious & beautifully prepared. My favorite drink is the Ruben Margarita- no mix, all fresh. We always get the guacamole made fresh at the table. My favorite meal is actually an appetizer, but its so big, its a meal - Ceviche Mixto. My husband loves (& so do I) the Jalea, also an appetizer, but its huge. We always bring home the leftovers.

Simply the best Spanish/Mexican Cuisine Restaurant in the state of Connecticut!!! First off...the Decor just blows everyone else out the water! The music selection adds to the wonderland of the culture. Your heart will vibrate to rhythm. The best but not least... "Drum roll " You have to try the "Pollo a la Crema" ~Poi-yoh ah la kre-ma Oh and the guacamole! Table side prepared to your liking!! Enough said...

Cesar, our talented waitor, took great care of us! Very knowledgeable on different Tequilas and extremely friendly, courteous and personable. Felt "at home". Great Guacamole custom made personally at our table with fresh ingredients to our specifications! Grilled Chicken fajitas were great even though tortillas didnt appear to be made from scratch. Should add flour/corn options and seafood tacos to menu.

Party of 11.. With two children under 2.. We waited an acceptable 25 minutes. Waiter attentive, got our order correct. One plate had mushrooms and was replaced due to an allergy within 7 minutes. Mariachi band serenaded us.. And dang happy birthday wished to the two in our party.. Wasnt our first. Wont be our last...keep chugging along

Went Today For First Time and Enjoyed It! Dont really Eat much of this type of Cuisine, but was able to Find Something from Their Menu as it Has a Wide Variety of Items. Looked @ The Reviews Here Afterwards and Now I See Why. Would Definately Recomend and Return.

Great atmosphere and friendly waiting staff, the food was pretty good but the noise from the bar area really interferes with conversations that happen at the table. Going around lunch time might be better if your not into loud environments.

Great food, huge portions. I am happy that of all the places on the Berlin turnpike I feel this place was the better pick of them all. Great wait staff friendly and quick and of the 4 meals we all ordered all of them were delicious.

Always fresh. Amazing flavors and textures. My favorites are the Chicharaones de calamares and the Carne Asada. I travel extensively and this is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the entire East coast. Ridiculously good.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. I am originally from Texas, a state known for mexican food and I can tell you this place is definitely legit. Just bring a large appetite!!! Eat slow, enjoy every bite!!

The food was very good and the service was quick. The margaritas are very good and I would highly recommend them. However, I was not a fan of their rice. I felt like it needed more and hence they only received 4 stars.

The Mexican food here is great, I have tried multiple dishes here and have not been disappointed. Especially love the decor, so beautiful! I always try to stop by whenever I am going back to New Haven from Hartford.
