I had my coworker bring me a Downtown Salad back to the office. I could smell it before I even opened the container, it smelled like a swamp. Not good!! I opened it to find a bunch of boogery rotten lettuce. So then, Im like well... Ill just pick the candied walnuts off and eat those. Syke!! I almost chipped my freaking tooth on a walnut shell. This goes beyond dissatisfaction!! And Im freaking starving!! If I didnt have so much work to do I would march that booger salad back there and ask them to eat it!! The lettuce was really gross and all decaying and smelly. Shame on you for serving that to your customers.

This place is consistently good, food is excellent but the beer options are not better than an other regular old bar and grill, I would expect a little more from a place that advertises as a craft brewer. They do not brew on site, which doesnt matter to me or affect my review but just in case other people think to go here for a brewery tour... They have a great patio area that is 4-season and fully covered. With an additional patio bar area and TVs to boot. Its also nice that they have their own parking lot with an attendant to make sure only customers use it, parking is free.

Went there for the first time just to go to the bar last night. Bartender at inside bar so rude, they definitely gave me a cheap whisky instead of Jameson and denied it. My friend bought a drink at last call, right after she was done paying for it they flipped in the lights and told them they had to dump the drinks. The last time I had dinner there my "lobster" sacchetinis were cold and without lobster. the steamers were completely over-cooked to the point of bring inedible. I wont be back and its too bad because their beer is good.

The food is alright. The atmosphere is irratating. When I was there on a busy Saturday night, they played the same Jimmy Buffett CD over and over again non-stop for the entire time I was there. The waitress was overworked and brought us the wrong beers. The beer was nothing special. The food was ok, but it was that overly flavored pub-style taste. You know, seasoned fries, everything had too much garlic, cant get the taste out of your mouth for two days kinda thing.

My experience will not be repeated at SBC , because I wont be returning. I was told to park behind the library next door because your parking lot was full. I received a ticket for 30 effin dollars when I returned to my vehicle. Your police department must not like your restaurant very much. This behavior will cost you hundreds of dollars in the future. Good luck, ex customer.

I come here whenever Im in town on business. They have a good variety of salads, burgers, sandwiches, apps & pizza on the menu. Ive tried most of it and never had a bad meal. The beer section is ever changing. ...and always good. I always eat at the bar and Josh does a great job taking of me. One of the few bars that freely lets you try a beer before ordering it too.

If I could rate this a zero I would. The manager was absolutely horrible and had no common sense for the laws in Connecticut. She said two of the IDs of my family members were fake when they clearly werent and they are both over 21. Absolutely awful attitudes and will NEVER go back. Cant believe this happened, we come here all of the time.

Great place, very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was served quickly, fresh and very tasty. We took early bird shell crab, crawfish quesadia and crispy oyster summer salad - everything was incredible. We were also given samples of beer before ordering. Inhopnito IPA went very well with our meal on that hot July afternoon.

Decent food decent beer list. Service was okay. Server knocked over a drink, we cleaned it up with our napkins and she never brought us new napkins. Also got our drink order mixed up with the same brewer but different beer. Getting a stout when you want an IPA is shocking to the taste buds. Other than that nice lunch atmosphere.

Too many good items to list; but the Penne Abbate is fabulous. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender. The Singapore Wings appetizer is sweet and tangy. They just need to get their waitstaff to keep things moving. I suspect the kitchen is understaffed, as there are always enough waitpersons; but the service is painfully slow.

regarding hamden location..ordered a jack and coke and received a what tasted like soda with no alch. I asked bar tender to put more alch in and 5 minutes later received an even more watered down version. girlfriends martinis were watered down as well. never tried the food or beer but stay away from hard liquor.

Great place to sit back and enjoy - Food and beer was great. Waitress was pleasant and weather was awesome to sit outside. Added bonus - a band was playing across the street so we had live music and a magician was onsite at the brewery showing tricks and making balloon animals and the kids LOVED it!!

I hate the layout of this place, the difficulty in getting a beer when it is even remotely busy is irritating, and theres just no real good reason to go here. When I was younger, I tolerated it, now, I wont go here. The food is average to above-average, generally speaking.

Whenever Im in the area, I always visit this spot. Its a trendy bar/restaurant. I dont drink, so I go for the food and atmosphere. They have pretty tasty burgers. Service can be a bit slow, but this isnt someplace you want to really hurry at anyway. Just relax and enjoy.

I love Milfords SBC, fine food, great beer, fab-scenic view of the river and historical downtown. The staff are always warm, friendly and helpful. This is a great place to hang with friends. My favorite thing is the gargoyle over looking the river.

Food was okay. Service was terrible. It took 20 minutes for a server to even acknowledge our existence. Atmosphere was nice though. Could have been a gem... but turned out to be a huge letdown.

Wonderful place to sit at the bar or dining. Good selection of local beer with a unseen spectrum of tastes. Food was good with interesting specials. Caring service rounds it up!

This is better than the typical TGIFridays, Applebees, Chilis chain restaurant pub food. Service has always been pretty good for me. Beer is good too.
