I went there on 09/09/2016 for the first time with my two teen daughters and my two year old toddler. As soon as I walked in I noticed a girl with a dour disposition so I patiently waited to be seated. I asked her for a table away from other patrons as I have a two year old child and I dont want to disturb anyone. She said "sure" the first thing she did was try and seat a party of four in a tiny crowded corner between three different couples. I politely said "excuse me can we sit over in that other side, away from people?" she reluctantly agrees and turns around and rolls her eyes at my server. Well my toddler was quiet and well behaved as always and thankfully no ones meal was ruined. My server was really nice but the same cannot be said for the young woman that seated us. The food came out quickly but there was a lot of people (servers) standing around and staring which made our meal uncomfortable . The food was ok but nothing special, I could have cooked better at home. We found it was a little bland but nothing a little salt and a bunch of sauce wont fix. My daughter wanted to try out this place for her birthday but next time we will go to the Olive Garden instead. Despite everything we remained optimistic and tried to make the best of it. We ate, chatted, enjoyed our time and the bill was a bit pricy for the quality, 43.49 + 15.00 tip. But since I was in a good mood and it was my daughters birthday it didnt matter. It bothered me a bit at first when my simple request to the girl seating us turned into a roll eyes but I wont loose sleep over it. My server was awesome and accommodating to us. I dont know if I will be returning to this location anytime soon since I wasnt really impressed with the food. I didnt even bother to address my experience with the manager as he looks very unfriendly and like he could care less

Ihop is fine as a chain, the good taste exactly like every other ihop. However ever time Ive tried this particular one, the staff is horrendous (I do visit with an open mind each time). You have to hunt down some one to seat you even when the restaurant is slow and the staff can clearly see you, but I guess the conversation they were having was a good one. Then they always have attitudes as if it was rude of you to try to eat at the restaurant, eyes rolliing and ignoring customers. To me it seems like everyone who is hired here is trained to expect the worst treatment from every customer. In summary the term "uncomfortable and hostile" is how I would describe this place. Go to a different ihop for a better experience.

Mohammed is an amazing waiter. We went there after seeing a movie in the mall and were given good service and good food. Our waiter, Mohammed, was friendly and greatly improved our experience. He talked to us about the movie we saw among other topics. In short, the food was good and came quickly, and the service was excellent. Ask to sit in Mohammeds section if you go.

This is our 3rd time here. In between those times we have tried other places and I think Ive learned my lesson now lol I love this ihop! Our waitress Cheryl D was awesome and got us everything we needed before we needed it. The food was perfectly cooked and bonus, kids eat free after 3pm!! Woo hoo! Thanks Ihop for another 5 star encounter! :-)

I been here many times and I just cant stop going back. This place is best in service, and food. The staff are very friendly. The food is excellent. Even though they are busy on the weekends the food comes out pretty quick. I love this place. I havent had this kind of experience in any restaurant but this.

Got seated quickly especially for a Sunday morning breakfast. Everyone was great ! Food was awesome and on point and My server was awesome and attentive its to bad I cant remember her name Im bad with stuff like that. Thanks IHOP of Waterbury for your professionalism !

I have visited this IHOP at Brass Mill Center several times, and I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. The pancakes are amazing along with a nice hot chocolate. If you have a sweet tooth this is definitely the place for you. The staff are friendly and the service is fast!

The service is always nice. And they never mess up my order. I always order the big steak omelette when Im there. The location is convenient as well. Its located in the mall and IHOP opens before the mall opens so I oftentimes eat here while I wait to go shopping.

Service is great! Pancakes are always good but small compared to other places. Other good sucks!! Portions are extremely skimpy!!! Bacon under cooked, scrambled eggs taste powdered. Expensive for what they give you.

We went to ihop the other night for dinner and it was the best visit I have ever had at any ihop! The server was VERY friendly and attentive, the kitchen was fast and accurate. I was very happy with the visit!
