Literally the best meal Ive ever had. The service is exceptional, everyone is so friendly and warm, and it makes for a truly great dining experience. We went here for our five year anniversary and I can honestly say we could not have made a better choice in venue! The wings were good (nice and spicy!) And we even loved the bread and butter! We ordered a hangar steak at the chefs recommendation. It is the best steak I have ever had! The potato rissoto and asparagus with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top everything was to die for. And their draft beer selection is great too! 10/10 would come here again. And again. And again!

What an amazing dinner we had. I was with 2 colleagues and found this place off the beaten path. It was wonderful. Everything from the food to the service. We had steak tartare and the mushroom appetizers. We then ordered the pork tenderloin, salmon, and the scallops for our entres each dish was excellent. Our waiter Mike was spot on with the recommendations. Of course we had to try the dessert which was even better. This truly is a gem of a find. Very laid back and comfortable with 5 star food and service. You need to check this place out!!!!

We were excited to try Fire at the Ridge because we had heard that the restaurant wanted to get locals to support their efforts to create a new favorite restaurant in the area. The restaurant is located at the base of Powder Ridge Ski Resort in Middlefield, CT and we visited them on a weekend night. The restaurant is trying hard to improve their image, but it fell short in our eyes. Food was average. Service was average. Nothing that would make us want to come back. We can check this off our list of places to try.

Had a great dinner tonight at Fire on the Ridge. Loved our appetizers, clam chowder was delicious as were the oysters. We enjoyed the scallops for dinner and filet. And dessert was also great! I loved the selection of beers on tap!!! The restaurant was beautiful. Wait staff was great too. Being at the base of powder ridge brought back many memories for my husband and I since we use to ski there 20 years ago. I wish Kevin all the best! Thanks for a great dinner and we look forward to dining there again.

I will start off with the food which was great. Vegetables with the chicken were fantastic and everything was cooked perfectly. Very nice setting inside, the did a great job remodeling the place. Service was slow and they were obviously understaffed but the manager was very helpful and apologetic. I will definitely give it another try. We were told there is also live music on Saturday nights.

The food is very good, its worth going for that reason alone. However the wait staff needs work. Polite enough but water glasses not refilled, no checking to see if coffee needed refilling. No offer of coffee or tea with dessert. Simple stuff and easy enough to fix.

First visit. 8 taps and a decent rotating craft selection. 4 were from Connecticut. Wednesday night is 1/2 off burger night. Burger and fries were nice with a few New England Sea Hag IPAs.

Over priced, portions small, no childrens menu. Poor service . Not affordable!!! Not sure how this place ended up in a budget friendly category on Google???

Just walking in the door had us hooked. What a clean well maintained dining area and bar. The food was spectacular.

Very nice inside, looking at the mountain. Ate in the bar, had great mussels, very tasty. Would go back again.
