FIrst off, I have been here before with mixed reviews. I figured I would try this place again on our flight home from Maine. We landed around 1pm and went through the Rectrix FBO into the restaurant. Upon arrival I notice a "hostess stand" aka a bar chair, with 4 people waiting in the lobby chairs. I was curious as to why these folks were waiting as there was 4 tables open and hardly anyone at the bar. That being said I approached the bar and started to take my seat. "Theres a wait sir" I heard from over my shoulder. "Even to sit at the bar?" I asked. This young woman advised that there was a wait for the bar and for tables. With a puzzled look I asked her how the wait was, to which she advised almost 30 minutes. Seeing only 4 people waiting I asked if they were the only folks ahead of us. The hostess replied that they were the only people waiting ahead of us. With another glance around the restaurant, the hostess clearly knew that I saw all the open tables and bar seats, and proceed to tell me that they only had two waitresses on and that we would have to wait... Are you kidding me? You staff two waitresses on a Sunday AT LUNCHTIME? To the point where you have to turn paying customers away because of it? Who is managing this place? Why couldnt we have sat at the bar and let the bartender take our order? We left as quickly as arrived, both myself and our guests unhappy with how we were treated and how this business was being managed. Needless to say I will never fly in for a meal at Papps ever again, and I will make sure my friends in the general aviation community know what an awful experience we had.

Went with party of 8. never been before. the waitress, Kerris service totally sucked. had to wait forever to get a fork. was not attentive at all. one person got wrong order. Salads were not brought together. Could not get a drink promptly and when it came 2 melted ice cubes in there. No bread or rolls served! Food when it came was ok. The chef came out and comped a portion of our meal and took the gratuity completely off. We are not going there again and Do Not recommend it. The bar atmosphere awful.

I ordered shrimp scampi, it was made with small frozen shrimp, the pasta was elbow macaroni, barely any garlic and sauce was milky white. I cannot believe I paid $17.00 for this main. Only had salad, cant believe I did not send back. Shame on the chef and the management in allowing this presentation. Will not be returning. Told their may be some operational problems. Others beware, be careful what you order.

Nice atmosphere being right at the airport. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Staff and chef that care about my food allergy, the chef came to the table to confirm my allergy and explain to me how he was going to prep my dish. Thats service you dont get at other places. Consistent quality, great tasting dishes. Keep up the great work!

amazing little place, great food for a great price. very clean and super friendly staff. a helicopter made quite a bit of noise at one point making it hard to continue discussion but it was an interesting perk at the same time.

Great place to watch the aircraft. Especially fun in the summer up on the deck. Good bar, but not much on draft. Food menu changes constantly- not a lot of selections. Some items are good, others, just okay. Go for the specials.

Great restaurant with great views of Barnes AFB. Highly recommend the pulled pork mac n cheese. Very good and plenty of it. Will definitely have some to take home for lunch the next day. #leftovers
