I am an Italian from NY, so let me assure you the stereotype is largely true, we love and can be critical of Chinese food. I drive a coach bus for a living and finding food can often be tricky. The bus is so large that I cant just take it anywhere. That makes delivery important. That all being said, Main Moon is a great place. I found them through Google Maps, ordered through Beyond Menu and had my food in about 15 minutes and it was piping hot and the delivery guy was very nice and understood the delivery instructions that I was in a bus in a parking lot. The Garlic Chicken was fantastic with a good variety of vegitables and good portions of entree and rice. The chicken noodle soup was a bit bland, but not bad. The pan fried dumplings were outstanding. I highly recommend Main Moon if you are in the Simsbury, CT area. I will definitely remember them if Im ever here again.

The food is always great, and the people are always so friendly. The General Tso Chicken is always crispy and fresh. The Ginger Wontons are a treat that you will be talking about for 20 years (at least any time someone mentions Main Moon). Thats how I found out about this place. A friend at work that lives in Springfield asked me if I had ever been to Main Moon. When I told him it is right down the street, he asked me to bring in some Ginger Wontons for him, since he hadnt had them for 15 years. Now I consider him a great friend. Thats how good the Ginger Wontons are. Even the egg rolls are perfection. It looks like a dive, but you will never regret the food, or the fantastic people that treat you like family.

Main moon chinese restaurant is amazing!! My grandma took me there when we had movers coming and they were always very gracious, very nice, and always got our order right!! Their food is great quality (I suggest the tangerine chicken or pepper steak lunch special.) I will definetly eat there and travel from Arizona just to eat there. Always cooperative and always very giving and nice. Eat there and their prices are great too. 5 stars out of 5 stars for me!

Best Chinese food available in the area, and Ive tried it all. Only thing better in CT is Chengs Garden in Enfield. However Main Moon is close and always very good and the people are very kind to us. They have given us free food on numerous occasions. Very generous people, please show them your support!

This place is a good bet for Chinese food in the area. The family that now runs it is really friendly. The General Tso is only so-so, but I really like some of their curry dishes and soups. The pork-on-a-stick (whatever thats called) was also quite good.
