I was hoping for great based on reviews but it was very average. Server was nice and helpful but very slow and we were only people in restaurant. Quality of food was OK.... But priced high for just OK food. Pico was watery and bland... Cheese dip tasted like melted American cheese and my Margarita was not one of the better I have had. Atmosphere was colorful and friendly but likely not a repeat for us.

It was packed on Cinco de Mayo so of course service was a bit slower but the staff was very nice and accomodating. Salsa with the chips was very watery and bland. However, my steak chimichangas were delicious! They also gave me some super spicy flavorful sauce to go with it. I got the Bamba Margarita which was solid. Overall, a very good local joint with good food and staff.

If you are looking for authentic and delicious Mexican food, La Bamba will pleasantly surprise you. The menu options are diverse and plentiful, and they have some amazing cocktails. The only thing that could improve would be the service; it was too slow the night we went. Regardless, the staff is super friendly, so it will not deter me from visiting many more times.

Coming to this establishment was a wonderful experience. Jorge, our waiter, was friendly and inviting despite the fact that our party came right before closing. The food and drinks were amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back when I visit CT again from Philadelphia. This place clearly earned 5 stars!

After I read all of the reviews on Yelp. I decided to give it a go. I was very disappointed the salsa was very watery it had no flavor at all. The margaritas were terrible so much strawberry mix. I will not be going back. To bad because I love to support local businesses.

Bland, gross, and I never knew a margarita could taste so bad. Horrible after taste... Had to use lots of salt and pepper.... To go box was left empty and on the table.... Forced puking is authorized...
