Worst customer service I have ever seen. I liked the food there, hence decided that I will ask them to prepare food for my daughters birthday party. Me, my wife and daughter went to the restaurant on a Sunday night to place the order for next weekend. There were about half full, we were given the menu and asked to wait. They didnt even asked us to sit. We stood at the entrance for 15 minutes, but nobody came to take the order. Then after multiple calls, one person came and told us very rudely(before even we could speak) " Sir, we cannot take your order now, you can come during day time tomorrow and give us your order". It was really shocking to hear. I asked if I could talk to the owner/manager, then he pointed to the owner/manager and told "he only told me to tell this" They lack the very minimum understanding on how to deal with a client. that was insulting us. If they are busy, a polite response or telling that they will call me tomorrow would not have insulted us. Or they could have told this before asking us to wait. We walked out and gave the order to another restaurant nearby and they served my party for 75 people with very good food, everybody appreciated the food. We will never ever will go to this place again.

My husband and I visited Indigo Restaurant lunch buffet on a Tuesday afternoon and enjoyed the wide variety of vegetarian dishes, chutneys, curd rice, appam, and desserts for $8.99. This is our first visit to this restaurant and it is very elegantly decorated with a peacock motif and granite buffet counters. The staff is very friendly and smiling and attentive to our needs. The owner of this restaurant was formerly at Utsav in Vernon which is also an excellent restaurant that I have been to several times for their lunch buffet. I really enjoyed the gulab jamun and vermicelli kheer for dessert. Indigo is cozy, comfortable, and elegant. The location is good as it is close to Patel Foods where we shop for our Indian groceries. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to trying their weekend buffet next time.

I visit or order from IndiGo almost every week! I think IndiGo is the best Indian Restaurant in the area. Their use of spices and herbs are most authentic and really make their different sauces outstanding with distinct flavors. I love their great variety of vegetarian dishes, I especially like their garlic naan, mulligatawny soup and palak paneer. My husband, who is a meat eater, loves their tandoori chicken and shrimp kashmiri khorma. We love so their food so much that we ordered catering service from them for our New Year family gathering. They served with professionalism and the food are real hot when they delivered to us. The Chef/boss Sheen is the most friendly person and will work on the menu with you. I will definitely order from them again!

After a dinner gathering with my business partners last week at IndiGo, I become a big fan of Indian food. Its simply the best Indian dining experience I have ever had. Their Rawbanana Vada Noodle and malai tikka kebab are the best appetizer in town, and I luv their dessert - Jelebi. (Two thumbs up!!!) Such "fresh prep" dining environment is wonderfully good. My colleagues and I decided to order their party platter menu for the coming office party. Surely it will be an extremely exotic and fun party. Cant wait!! Love IndiGo :)

Well one of the better Indian restaurants around this area. I went for dinner with my family and ordered both veggie and chicken dishes. Although the place is small and has modest ambiance but What I really loved about this place is the food. The flavors were fresh, the presentations and taste was nice and is definitely value for money. I am yet to taste the buffet and will post review once I can.

The service is very poor. However, good food for the money. Our experience has been that the manager and staff do not like to cater to Indians (except Malayalees) and treated us very differently than people from other nationalities who were sitting around us. We were there four times and we experienced the same negligence every time. I bet other Indians would have felt this too.

A delightful Indian restaurant. The food here is topnotch and the ambiance is also very inviting. And it was the best service Ive ever had at any Indian restaurant. Lamb Rogan Josh which melts in your mouth, Channa Masala and the Vegetable curry with great depth of flavors, last but not least the Naan. Everything was so delicious. Weve a lovely evening.

Their lunch buffet is authentic and has a good range of vegen/glutenfree/vegetarian options as well as classic meat dishes. They usually offer salads, appetizers and dessert on the buffet which opens at 11a.m. the staff is very attentive and friendly and the restaurant looks and smells clean. The food is delicious and the mango lassis are the BEST!

This is one of our favorite restaurant. Weve tried both their lunch buffet and dinner from the menu. We love both. We can try a wide range of dishes during the lunch buffet. All the dishes are very fresh and well labelled. And the best part is they keep rotating the dishes on the buffet, every time you might able to try something new.

My mouth is watering just writing this review. Indigo has amazing Indian food at great prices. You wont go wrong with Indigo, a great value for lunch buffet and dinner. They are quick, especially when you call in a takeout order, and always get your order right. I took several friends there and they all said it is the best.

Two stars right now. Very slow to get our meals. Adding the following to the initial review: The food was delicious. We did order two tandoor meals which they told us took longer to cook. Also, they serve the warm Indian coffee that we love. Not a lot of restaurants offer this. Overall we have upped our review to 4 stars.

My friend and I went there for dinner, we had chicken with the coconut rice, it was delicious and I had enough leftovers to have lunch the next day. Food was great and the server was sweet and very polite. Prices are also very good. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. I personally love Indian cuisine.

Have stopped here few times for take out and buffet. Initially (in 2010 when it started ) it was good. but not any more. standard has come down. Me & my wife had a take out and we both got a stomach upset due to the terrible food. We have got better Indian restaurants in Hartford area.

A different type of food from that found in most Indian restaurants, worth going on a buffet night. They are very computer savvy, get you to join their e-mail/facebook/twitter etc. However when I printed out one of their online coupons they refused to honor it.
