For breakfast in the town of Ellington, there is no other place you should even think about - The CHUCK has it all. This family owned business couldnt have nicer people at the helm. Dad hustling around doing prep, cooking, stocking, fixing - Mom, greeting, filling your coffee cup, taking your order -- both of them doing it all. Their sons at the grill whipping up some of the quickest and BEST breakfasts we have ever had, consistently every time. The other staff follows in their example, coffees are always on the move ready to fill your cup, orders are flying off the grill with no loss in quality - every time (and these are too many to count), it is always EXCELLENT ! Bravo to the CHUCK ! Oh yeah, and not that it mattered THAT much, but the prices are just right.

Revisit, actually got to sit down and eat this time. Food is what I expected typical country food omlette was good potatoes could have been better cooked. Was actually served this time, same issue occurred if youre not a regular you dont get as good service as regulars. Bottom line the place was just okay not a place Id recommend to my friends of go out of my way to visit. Seemed clean and well maintained, a lot of locals who seem to visit often, they all look at you a little weird if youre new. No follow up with the server. Best thing about this place: the food. Worse thing about this place: the service.

Chuck Wagon is a good family food stop. It serves breakfast all day , but also has lunch options as well. Chuck Wagon has very fast service and great food. The prices are also very reasonable, 3 of us were able to eat for less than $25. I would recommend Chuck Wagon to anyone looking for a good place to eat .

A local gem ! Ive been to the Chuck Wagon multiple times with my grand children and it has always been great. The service is the best, the staff is warm, friendly and make you feel right at home and oh did I mention the breakfasts...The delish ! Love the broccoli and cheese omelet done to perfection.

We used to go there every weekend. The service is fast, the prices are great and the good is above typical breakfast fare. Sometimes there is a wait to get seated but once you are, its a very fast process. I highly recommend this place!

Darn Good Meat-lovers Omelette. Chock full of meats and cheese. Nice back in the day diner. Very clean. Lots of locals. Open early. The only negative was no follow-up with water. Easy access and ample parking. Very froggy day.
