7/6/08 Sit down time 10:30am Walk out time 11:30am When our fifth member Milind arrived at the restaurant, we (Adam, Mike D, Derk, Jed) were surprised that our waitress Tiffany sat at a table quickly with very little wait! We quickly order our drinks as we sat down in our leather-padded seats. Mike D and I enjoyed Large Chocolate Milks. While Milind order water with lemon and Derk had a small cup of Orange Juice. Adam ordered Apple Juice, which came in a plastic bottle that he had to pure at the table. After sitting down it was obvious that the special omelet for the day was going to take over our table by storm. Adam who is from out-of-town has been to the cosmic omelet three-time prior and is always looking to try a new breakfast feast. Derk, Adam, and myself all ordered the Big Dipper omelet that consisted of Spinach- Artichoke Dip with Swiss cheese and Strips of Bacon! Milind ordered the Small Dipper, which are the same ingredients except its vegetarian. Mike D another out-of-towner wanted to try his pallet with an official cosmic omelet, cream cheese was a hit in his Joey’s Cosmic Omelet. We all ordered loaded hash browns as our sides and we all had slice bread as well. I opted for the mystery bread of the day, sour dough, which was soft, warm, and buttery! Mike D enjoyed how there were board games in the corner of the restaurant; he felt it would be a good way to bond with others around the table. At this point in time Derk points out the old school Television that is turned on but muted. It is showing the Wimbledon Tennis Championship that get Milind very happy. Mike D and Milind find the TV to be a plus. Yet, with the consist vibes of great music I find the TV to be out of place, and a little too EARTHY for the cosmic realm. The food was served in respectable time. Adam took a bite from his Cosmic Breakfast sandwich and he states its "amazing". Mike D takes a bite out of his Cosmic Omelet and he finds a "zesty" taste that is quite pleasant. Milind went for the loaded hash brown (without bacon) and he shouts out "WOW, very good spices". Derk takes a healthy fork full of the Special Big Dipper omelet and he feels like he is in a country home at first then a burst of bacon joins the party. He also states that the Swiss cheese adds to the cosmic taste, youll get it when you try it. With my first bit of the Big Dipper i instantly think Cheese!!! After the harmony of the dip settles in my mouth i actually find myself in love with the creamy dip center. I found that the temperature of the dip was warm but not hot enough to burn ones mouth. I also found that the loaded hash brown were cooked to perfection, burnt on the bottom cheesy on top! We all agreed that the atmosphere was fitting for the Cosmic Omelet. Milind, Derk, and myself all grew up in this town and have visited Cosmic Omelet too many times to remember. We find this place to be a hangout for a younger crowd of Manchester trendsetters. I.e. we recognize a female who walked in to eat with four friends that we haven’t seen since middle school. Another girl we noticed went to Manchester High School but graduated a few years after us. The one thing I have noticed in the past couple visits are the inconsistent omelet size. Even with our party of five, Milind was served a sub-average size omelet that did not satisfy his hunger after a night of drinking. Derk was also served the wrong type of bread, Sour Dough instead of Wheat, but this was not a big issue for him, even though he did not finish the last two pieces. The meal was reasonably priced considering the add-ons for loaded hash browns, and the ingredients for the special omelets. For five young men we were charged $58.07. What I must say is always true about the Cosmic Omelet is the small time business attitude that encompass our town. Walking into the restaurant it is nice to see the same smiling faces of the owner/wait staff/ cooks. I always find myself enjoying a good breakfast with friends when I enter the Cosmic Omelet...Jed Crockett

I have been here many times in the past, its a place alot of people from town congregate. However, the last few times I have been extremely dissappointed with service and quality. Went to Cosmic Omelete yesterday with my girlfriend. The server took 20 minutes to bring us our coffee and water. And the resturant wasnt even packed. Then, he didnt come back over until after the food was done (about 40 minutes) to offer us refills or check on our drinks. By this time, many people had entered the resturant behind us and already been served. He also forgot to put in my girlfriends order, except for her side of toast? To add insult ot injury, my food was cooked horribly. The eggs tasted like rubber, the hasbrowns were dry and WAY overcooked. the "cosmic" omlete was just a bunch of dry meat stuffed in a egg with a lump of creme cheese in the center. the creme chese wasnt spread and ingredients were really crappy. Will never go back. If you want to get breakfast in manchester, I suggest you go to the Sinnamon Shop, Chez Benz, or even DENNYS before you decide to go to Cosmic Omlete.

Very good food and good atmosphere. Loved the sausage, eggs, all of it; pancakes especially. The one problem I had was the waitress. She seemed very miserable and just gave off the impression that she hated her job. Had no enthusiasm or anything positive about her attitude whatsoever. She had an attitude with me and my father whenever we asked her for anything.. but that could just be cause it was 6-7am, and who isnt like that in the morning? Haha, who knows. Although, she got all of our orders correct without having to write anything down, which was very impressive considering I, myself, am a waiter with a very good memory, and always need to write orders down to remember them. Conclusion: The food was phenomenal (try the chocolate chip pancakes, theyre amazing), the service itself was good, comfortable environment, just the waitress just needs to lighten up a bit. :) Will be coming back!

I will not be returning to the Cosmic Omelet because when I went there the pancakes were not good at all they had no flavor. My grandparents were meeting my Aunt and Uncle there and when my grandparents got there the hostess asked how many and they said 4. The hostess said that she could not sit them until the rest of their party arrived but they wanted to get a table so they said sit us as two and when the waitress came over to take their food order they said they were waiting for 2 more people. The waitress left the table and got the manager who yelled at them about lying about how many people they had and asked them to leave. So my grandparents got up and left but the thing was that my grandparents could see my Aunt and Uncle looking for a parking spot. They left and went to The Gathering across the parking lot. Will not go here ever again...
