My group of friends have visited La Casona for various occasions over the last 4 years however last nights visit sealed the deal to find a location that does not ignore a table of 16. We had reservations for 8 PM and were not seated until 8:30, there was no waiter service until almost 9 PM. We had not even gotten a pitcher of water this whole time. After several of us spoke to the manager and one of us specifically asked them to bring us water the water and appetizers started to trickle to the table. Only half the group received water and by now it was almost 1 hour after being seated. The food finally arrived after 10:00 and one person who ordered chicken was served last when most of us were done with our entree. We all ordered from the fixed price dinner and after the entrees we were brought an awful chocolate dessert which seemed to be conflicted between being a chocolate pudding and chocolate cake. We had requested the flan for dessert and were told they were out of flan. The order was taken at 9 PM and it wasnt until after 11 PM that we were served dessert; at the very least have decency to tell us there is no flan instead of assuming we would all take the chocolate mess that was brought over. Afterward the waitress brought a couple of desserts because there were some people who had not received one; this was better than the chocolate mess but by this point everyone was ready to just pay this over priced meal and go home. Each couple paid about $63 for this mediocre service and OK food.

The perfect Italian restaurant in my eyes. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is cozy, fun and loud! Hearing everyone talk and laugh and having a great time makes me happy! We started with the garlic cheese bread...yum! We also had the spicy calamari. I never liked calamari until now. My husband had the Ragu Bolognese, so delicious.

This review is strictly based on their nightclub life. Awesome place to go spanish dancing. Theyve got the hip-hop side, the bar area and then the big spanish dancing area (merengue, bachata, and salsa). I have not eaten their food so I cant comment on that.

The food GREaT service GREaT! Although the chef n what looked like the owner along with a manager decided to have a meeting in the main dining area during my dinner... Not Cool very professional dont they have an office in the back for things like that. Smh

Fun place to go dancing Thursday nights without the creepy guys usually found in Hartford. $10 CASH at the door gets you a solo cup drink and $2 refills. One sketchy part; they required me to leave my EpiPen in the car or I wasnt allowed inside ...

Casona is under new ownership and is completely renovated with beautiful staff and amazing service the food is great the live bands are awesome I strongly recommend anyone to visit this fine restaurant it is completely different from past ownership.

I found hair in my food the people are rude the food is not the best took me forever to get a bottle of water and when I offer the bartender a tip she looked at me and said I needed it more
