Four of us went to the Barn on Saturday night. I like the way it is decorated and the waiters/waitresses seem very nice. There was one women, oriental, who got water and helped clear etc. but she did not understand any English. None! It is a little difficult to communicate with someone who understands nothing you are saying. The food was very good although it is fairly costly and all sides come with an extra cost. The biggest problem we encountered was the food was not served hot! That is a big turnoff for a lot of people especially when you are paying a good price for a meal. One person had to send her meal back twice. The first time it came back no hotter than when it left the table. Another person also sent it back to be heated. My husband and I ate ours although it was warm, not hot! They did respond to our disappointment and removed the main meals from our bill which we thought was generous and fair. Food is tasty and presented well. Restaurant is nice inside. I would only suggest that they figure out a system to assure that all meals are going out hot.

At the time of my visit to @ The Barn (Sept 20, 15), it seems that they had just recently opened and not exactly in sync yet (which was actually admitted to us by a couple of the wait staff). To that extent, the staff was very apologetic for the LONG wait times; it took my friend over 10 minutes just to get his soda. When the food finally arrived (over a half hour later), it was very good, but smaller portion sizes surprised both my friend an myself. I truly do hope that they find their rhythm and maybe fine tune prices and such, as this can eventually become a great restaurant to frequent.

My son and I went to the Barn for the first time today. Walking up to the restaurant we thought that it looked well taken care of. Inside the place looked great. Completely re-done since the last time we were there, it was under a different name then. Loved the menu, not huge but a great selection, something for everyone!The margarita that I ordered was fantastic and didnt taste like mixer and our food was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!Right down to the cheesecake and the cappuccino!! Our waitress was fantastic! Well done. Well be back.

This place is incredible. The service and food are outstanding! My wife and I have eaten here multiple times, both at the bar for apps and sitting down for a romantic multiple course meal. This is the type of place you bring a date, not the kids. The servers are smart enough to tell if you are in a hurry or if you want to spend some time here. The food has been perfect everytime. Its a little stuffy here but really the only downside are the prices, its not inexpensive but you get what you pay for!

We had a fantastic experience at The Barn. The food was delicious and service was quick. We really like the inside and outside table settings. The things I wanted to mention is that between the two bloody marys we ordered, they were quite different. Also, the taco meat in the breakfast taco could have been seasoned more. Other than that, the sweet potato fries and steak dish were great.

My husband was a disappointed with the small portions on his plate. We also were not given any bread or rolls with our dinner. My husband had steak & I had stripped bass. It seems they are trying to keep costs down by skimping on portions. Also, a man tripped on a step that appears out of nowhere. It fell forward and hit his ribs right on the corner of the table ahead of him.

Stopped by as a drive by and was very pleasantly surprised. James the owner was very personable. A lot of attention was paid to the design. Patio deck was very nice and our waitress was very nice and helpful with dining selection. The food was excellent.. Highly recommended. Joan

Over priced for what you get. Got the burger amd it was very small. Wifes chicken was pink on the inside so we sent it back. They didnt get her another piece they just reheated the same piece.....even the piece she spit back out. Wont be going back.

Lovely dinner great service local brews local sourced . Nice wine list . Creme brulee was 5 stars . Oysters nice selection. Only down side was a a grain of sand in one of the scallops but Ive done that . Sword fish perfectly cooked .

Excellent service. Attentive but not overbearing. We had an infant with us and when we needed to leave, the waitress was very helpful. Food high quality. Fresh ingredients. Nice comfortable cheerful atmosphere

Terrible service! waited over 45 minutes for oysters when I complained to the owner James he all but called me a liar, bartender was not willing to admit to his mistake, I would never recommend this restaurant

Best spot in Granby. Delicious food, friendly staff, modern decor, and outdoor patio with its own bar. Love the Bartenders inside. Always a great time and we really enjoy their happy hour selections!

Nice ambiance and decor, though it gets a little crowded. Decent happy hour specials are available. The regular menu can be a bit expensive. We like going here for drinks and splitting appetizers.
