Ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich and to my suprise, it came with no bbq sauce on it! No lettuce or tomato either! Just chopped up chicken (not shredded) on a stale bulkie roll. Found a container of BBQ sauce at bottom of the bag, So I assumed you add it to the chopped up chicken. After my 2nd bite into this disaster, I chomped on a chicken bone. Even more so a disaster. This is the absolute LAST TIME I will eat here! My ribs last time I ate here were extremely dry and tasteless. Ridiculously over priced as well! $8.50 for the disaster chicken sandwich and about $15 for the ribs! Giving 1 star is extremely generous!

Stopped in after a day of kayaking on the Merrimack. The food was all right (my medium burger was more well done, but the Cajun fries were tasty) and the service was friendly and prompt. The only downside was that the place overly lived up to its name: at one point nearly everyone in the restaurant was coughing or sneezing because of the smoke in the air. My nose was so runny the whole time I could barely taste anything other than the Cajun fries. Its hard to enjoy a burger when you cant actually inhale. :P

Stopped by to get their fried scallops. Paid 20+ dollars and got overcooked,chewy, old oil tasting crap. The fries were limp and tasted like old oil as well. NEVER AGAIN!! FIRST TIME THERE AND ABSOLUTELY THE LAST!! Was not long before the scallops and fries resurfaced! YUK, GROSS! And I only ate a few threw the rest away. That food keeps the animals away! Shame on you for such bad food at a big price! Change your oil and hire a new cook!!!

Love the food and the service. Brisket and Mac and cheese are my favorites. My husband loves the pulled pork. My son loves the hand breaded chicken tenders and hand-cut fries. My oldest always gets the sweet onion burger and my daughter gets a special B.L.T. made for her. Its not even on the menu. Some kind of peppery, brown sugar goodness baked on the bacon.

This place was great when they first opened, but over time the quality of the food has steadily declined. Very sad, because it USED to be well worth the 25 minute drive. Not sure what happened... its almost as if the guy who started it (and knew his BBQ) has left and the current owner is simply imitating without duplicating the original.

The food was great! I had pulled pork, beans and coleslaw. I liked it all. The service was awesome. Kelly, the lady behind the counter was very helpful and super friendly. The prices compare to it here bbq places. They also smoke dogs bones. I bought a few for the pooches and they love them!!!

The pulled pork was dried out and flavorless, the chicken was fatty and hardly worthy of being called BBQ. The sides were decent, but nothing great. The beans, however, were very good. We had a party of six and only two of us got our orders correctly. What a disappointment this was overall...

Food and service were fantastic. Sauce on the side means that you can actually taste the meat (perfectly smoked) and add sauce to suit your own taste. We will be back!
