My husband and I have been eating at this IHOP every Sunday night for four months now. Every time we go we ask for the same waitress, Brittney. Shes great, shes very kind, and really pleasant to talk to. I personally like to change my order every time we go, but my hubby always orders the same thing, the steak and eggs, he loves it. We have very few complaints about this restaurant. Sometimes if its really busy it will take awhile to get our food, but Brittney recently told us its because theres only one chef on Sunday nights. Also every once in a while our food comes out cold, but Brittney is always quick to apologize and takes care of it in a jiffy. All in all my husband and I agree the IHOP in Bloomfield, CT is an excellent place to eat, we give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Came here for my cousins birthday for a family breakfast- Horrible! Horrible! Service. We arrived at 9:10AM it was 9:45AM and no food yet. The server did not arrived to our table until we said something to one of them. They had a lot of servers walking around but dont seem to know what they are doing. I can say this IHOP is being poorly managed or I have to say there was no manager on duty on 7.28.18. I work in the Hotel industry with full service restaurant so I have pretty much a great idea how the food and beverage department is ran and this restaurant is indeed of management in a hurry. I will never return to this IHOP. A woman across from our table even got up and left because no one came to serve her. Do not go here for breakfast if you want efficient services.

I went to eat dinner with my sons. Their dinner was fine, I had a taste for breakfast so I ordered scrambled eggs w/ american cheese and steak (medium well). They brought my eggs out without my steak and the eggs were cold and not made w/ cheese. The steak took forever and when it came out it was not cooked the way I asked for it. I complained to the manager and she didnt apologize for the bad service but instead said "their working in the back as fast as they can to fix your order" in the meantime my sons are almost done eating. I paid for their dinners and cancelled my order. Management and the staff were terrible and my entire experience was a disaster. I will drive all the way to newington when I want to visit Ihop. The service and the food is better.

Our waitress was obviously given more tables than the other servers. Many of the other tables whom were seated after us, received their food before my family did. I dont know what was going on in that kitchen, but it took about an hour for our food to be cooked. Furthermore it was freezing. I have no idea why it makes sense to have air conditioner on in the winter. This experience was awful at no fault of the waitress; whom was quite courteous and apologetic about the situation.

Worst experience ever. Took forward to get our food, then once we got our food, the waitress went on break and left us sitting at the table waiting on our check and to go containers. Then lied to the manager that she left the bill and said by to us, Stacey sucks!!!! The management gave us 15% ofd, which had quickly had changed to 30%. Just all in all a very bad experience, will never go here again, rather drive a little further to go to the one in west Hartford

Food was great, server was awesome she didnt even mind the mess my little one made but the hostess was so slow and they werent even busy. Waited 10 minutes to be seated and she never apologised for the wait time. Being a former hostess for years I totally understand the juggle between cashing people out and seating them, she needs to learn how to balance those so the front of the house runs smoothly.

This rating is for lack of cleanliness and maintenance. The booth we sat in was in desperate need of repair. Our drink orders were riddled with food particulates. The outside of our tables syrup containers had been caked with old syrup, causing it to stick to the table. Our hostess seemed to care less when we mentioned anything to her. I like IHOP overall, I dont like this restaurant.

The service was very poor. We had to wait 40 minutes to get our food and other tables got their within 10 minutes of being sat down. Also, we waotes 10 minutes to get water.The waitress did not even bring out our full order. The waitress never asked if our drinks needed to be refilled or how the food was.

I was order today one kids meal $4.99 and one 55* Omlet $11.00 with fruit. for me that is so bad service. I did not got my fruit and Omlet looked like spoiled meal. Kids meal 5 silver dollar panpake all missed together. I dont know becouse I am Chinese or he just unhappy to service me.

This place is horrible, they doesnt even know English. They doesnt understand whats written in a official IHOP coupon and they ask to get out of the restaurant. Poor management, stupid staff and manager and more over place is dirty and sticky. Please dont go to this IHOP......

Where to start, the tables was messy, the floor was messy with paper thrown all all over place, the waitress wasnt rude but we felt like we was taking up her time, and the bathrooms was horrible....one good thing the food was good five stars for the cook

I sooooo love the staff there. My food is always hot and fresh... I too also feel bad for the servers because the clientele is often weird. The place is clean and the food is affordable. I will always eat there great job staff!

Why I love it? Because of the awesome pancakes!! Why else? Lol. I enjoy the service here, the waiters are super nice and quick. Everything about this place I loved. The bathrooms are super clean also. Great place for breakfast.

The staff rarely come out and they come out covered in stuff. They do not look professional at ALL! And the food was terrible. We just had to leave money because we would have been there all day! I do not reccomend this place!

It is so hot in here and they are under staffed. I will not be returning to this IHOP location. Makes me wonder if the food in the kitchen is at the appropriate temperatures.
