I used to go the the Guilford location every week. It was my favorite breakfast spot. It had alot of healthy breakfast options that were all delicious. Then they closed with absolutely no warning, leaving only the North Branford location...which is in the middle of nowhere and was inexplicably closed literally every time I went ( which was on days they were supposed to be open) I finally got to go with my family when it was open today, extremely excited to get buckwheat pancakes. The order seemed to go through like normal, until everyones food came but mine. The waitress assured me my food would arrive, but 10 minutes went by and nothing. She came back telling me that they could not fulfill my order b/c the cook didnt want to make any more batter. They could not accommodate any other of my dietary restrictions so I had to go without food. It is a shame that the place I used to frequent with such joy has gotten to this point. But needless to say I will not be driving 30 minutes out of my way to not get any food again.

So I can not say enough great things about this place. Probably the best breakfast I have had in a while. Amazing muffins. The best steak and eggs breakfast I have ever had. They actually used a real piece of grass fed beef and not a frozen grey piece of meat that you get everywhere else. The eggs were perfect. The price is very reasonable and the service was perfect. Im pretty sure I was talking to the owner and her daughter. Just awesome people that really care about your experience and food. I will be coming back to the hidden kitchen many more times in the future. Thank you for having such and awesome restaurant.

I went there and the owner was rude so much so her waitress walked out. (Not that i blame her) She had terrible service. The home fries were burnt. I do not recommend anyone going there. they didnt comp us on the home fries even after her husband told her to. You would be better off going to McDonalds then there

THE BEST BREAKFAST. There isnt any place like this Hidden Kitchen. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff, and when I say staff I mean everyone from the dish washer to the waitresses to the cooks to the bus boys are friendly, attentive and seem like the genuinely enjoy working there.

Everything was great, fresh eggs and tasty French toast. The pancakes are definitely one of a kind here. I traveled 40 minutes to get there and the food made the trip well worth it. I have to go back to try their lunch menu, it looks just as good as the breakfast one.

This is my absolute favorite place to eat. The food is one of the kind and the service matches. You instantly are greeted with a kind face making you feel welcomed. The only issue I have with the hidden kitchen is my struggle to pick what Im going to eat!

I used to go to the Post Road Guilford location. The Rt 80 is near my house and glad they opened up a 2nd place. Its just the same good food as the original. Good breakfast food and great sandwiches for lunch. Nice friendly staff.
