I am active duty in the Air Force, but grew up in Connecticut. Every time I come home to Ansonia on leave, this is one of the first stops I make. You dont realize just how good the pizza in CT is until you leave CT for a while. And among the small pizzarias (I wont even address the big chains here -- they pale in comparison to just about any of the small pizzarias in CT), Roma is the best. I wont go anywhere else. They dont take credit cards, which is the only drawback. Still, that doesnt stop me from giving 5 Stars for customer service, atmosphere, and just great pizza!

The place was clean and the staff was friendly, but the food I ordered wasnt satisfying. Me and my girlfriend order the chicken parm dinner and the pasta dinner (spaghetti w/ white mushroom sauce. The salads that came with the food were withered and browning. The breading on the chicken parm was dry and didnt stick to the chicken at all. The sauce was decent. I am going to come back for another try and try out their pizzas.

My first time here l went for lunch ordered buffalo wings and Roma Pizza. Hands down best pizza place in the Valley. Im 6 months pregnant and I get bad heartburn eating pizza. Not here me and the baby definitely enjoyed it. Will go back soon with my kids for dinner.

I review every place Ive visited. This pizzeria by far is one of cleanest places Ive seen. From the inviting exterior, to the interior. Its absolutely spotless. Brick oven pizza and a family oriented staff, it didnt get any better. Keep up the great work guys!

This pizza is very, very good. Thin crust & great taste of brick oven. Really, every review that isnt positive appears to have been written by a five year old. If you like Modern, Frank Pepes, etc.. you WILL like/love this pizza.

I use to LOVE Italian Pavilion Pizza in the old Ansonia Mall years ago. Roma Pizzeria has captured that old time pizza taste from long ago! BEST wood fired brick oven pizza!!! This is the "go to" pizza place in the Valley!

They make a great pie.Have an excellent breaded chicken. Usually get their BBQ pie with Breaded chicken and is excellent. Also have an excellent tomato sauce. Staff always friendly and extremely accommodating

Best brick oven pizza in the area without having to drive to New Haven. Completely blows a number of other valley places right out of the water. Only drawback is no delivery and cash only.

Quick service. Margarita pizza and cheesy garlic bread were delicious. A true thin crust pizza. There were about 5 booths inside for seating and a TV for watching the game.
